Family-friendly vacation rentals in Capri

From the moment we booked, Francescopaolo was in touch asking if we needed him to arrange ANYTHING prior to our arrival. He sent so much informative information and this was so helpful when deciding where to go and what to do. He is a wonderful man and will help you with anything you need. The location is perfect to get to the ferry that will take you to the other islands. The home is very secure and private. Luckily, there is an elevator for your luggage so you do not need to bring it up and down the stairs. The bathrooms are a little small however, this is to be expected in a home that was built over 700 years ago. The view from this home is absolutely breathtaking. The beauty of the terrace is exactly as it is pictured. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful terraces in Minori. Thank you francescopaolo for sharing your beautiful home. I look forward to returning in the future.

Carmine was an AMAZING host. Funny, thoughtful, kind and SO responsive. The home itself was insanely beautiful and peaceful and surreal. The views and the accessibility to being RIGHT in town- but in an orange and lemon grove made it seem like heaven. We loved the people (gardener, carmine) and the location (sweet lemon blossoms, all you can eat oranges, the pool) it was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in (with my husband and two kids, age 5 & 8). Definitely recommend!!!!

Alessandra’s villa is gorgeous! The view was phenomenal and the place very clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend. Love to come back sometime. There is obviously lots of stairs to go anywhere in the area so might want to consider that when booking. Thank you Alessandra!

We stayed at this beautiful home in Oct. 2024. What first struck us was the size of the property. Just so many paths, patios, and restful nooks. So much space, and very peaceful. We never heard a neighbor, and loved hearing the church bells every 15 minutes. The house was perfect for our needs. Lots of space, large beds, and very clean. The kitchen had all the tools needed for cooking, and we took advantage of this with cooking a couple of home cooked dinners using produce and pasta from the local market. The house is away from the hustle and bustle of Positano and Amalfi, but very easy to get through using either local or private bus/shuttles. After a busy day in Positano or Ravello or Pompeii, it was great to return to our quiet chateau on the hill. We did drive a rental car to the house, and much appreciate the parking provided by the host. A secure lot where one is guaranteed a spot for a reasonable fee. We'll be back.

Licia is the best air b n b host we have ever had! She made our trip seamless and was helpful in coordinating reservations and cabs. She is as very sweet and all of her recommendations were spot on. The home was even more beautiful than the photos. As the listing and many reviews state, it is at the top of Positano. The walk down was reasonable with many steps but only about 15-20 min to town. My mother was able to make it back up the steps one time but she did not prefer it and it took us around 45 mi, but like I said Lucia helped us coordinate rides and gave us bus instructions. There is also a nice restaurant at the top of the hill across the street called da constantino if you have a night you do not want to go to town.

We stayed two families and our granddad at Mamma Mia and it was an absolute joy. The Feeling Italy team was great and getting the booking done and they helped set up activities for us. The host - Antonella and her team - were truly amazing. They made us feel at home immediately and were extremely helpful throughout the stay. We had s pizza party that they organized and it was probably the best pizzas we’ve ever had. The kids loved it. I can’t recommend this villa enough.

Beautiful, beautiful place!! The house is super aesthetic and spotless, and the pool was absolutely amazing. Honestly, the place is even better than the photos—I wish I could share the pictures I took to show how stunning it really is! The location is unbeatable— great restaurants, shops, and a beautiful beach all walking distance. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They explained everything so clearly, including how to use the house and where to park, which made everything so easy. Parking comes with an extra fee, but it felt totally worth it. Our car was kept safe under the staff’s great care, and the parking area was secure and locked after hours. It’s also less than a 2-minute walk from the house.

Portapenta is amazing and book with confidence if you find availability. Gorgeous views, gorgeous garden onsite, fresh lemons and fruits are abundant right from the trees outside. Spotlessly clean and an easy walk to everything in Praiano. Arrival was a bit challenging as we weren't 100% sure of where we were supposed to meet up to drop our luggage and to park our car for our stay. Once we arrived, though, everything was amazing. If you have mobility issues this may not be an ideal location as there are a LOT of stairs to get to the apartment, but if not it's well worth the effort once you get there and see the views. Frank helped us with our luggage and he's a real sweetheart! :) Thanks for an amazing stay Elena and Daniela! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Perfectly located to enjoy all that the area has to offer and an easy bus ride or ferry to nearby cities like Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento while enjoying a quieter pace in Praiano. Would go back again.

We spent a fantastic week in Casa Romantica. The apartment is immaculate, bright with lots of windows to let in the breeze, comfortably furnished, and has an amazing balcony with view. Words cannot describe how beautiful and relaxing it was to appreciate Positano from that balcony. The kitchen is well stocked, and beautiful decorated. We appreciated the two bathrooms, and washer. There is a great grocery store just up the steps on the main road, and abundance of restaurants nearby. There is also a great deli/grocery store in center of town for sandwiches and takeouts. We were greeted by Francesco, who was very friendly and thorough in explaining the workings of the apartment. We felt very well cared for. Communication with Roberta was also fantastic. We are already planning to return!

It is a beautifully designed space and color pallette. Elegant but very livatable/. It was quiet and peaceful even though you know you have neighbors. The setting is so peaceful and unique - a mixture of old world setting and new amenities to enjoy. So much to see we almost hated to leave each day to go out on our excursions. The patio with fruit trees and shade orange and lemon tree were so inviting. Heed her notice, there are about 100 steps to get to her place. It's all part of the adventure. Nice walk to center of town.

Teresa was a wonderful host. From the moment I booked her apartment, she was very helpful. Teresa went above and beyond to give me information about traveling to the Amalfi Coast. She helped with ways to arrive in Minori. I didn’t know that it was easier to take a train from where we were arriving from. She provided me with helpful tips as I was planning my trip. Teresa has an assistant, Mario who helps with bringing luggage to her apartment because there are a lot of steps. I was traveling with my mom who has a bit of a hard time with all the steps in and around the Amalfi Coast and Mario was so helpful every step of the way. Minori is absolutely breathtaking and it’s a 5 minute walk to the center of the village. The ferry is a 5 minute walk and so are the buses, restaurants and shopping. Easily accessible to Amalfi, Positano, Capri etc. We absolutely loved how accessible Teresa apartment was to everything. Teresa was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. 🤍

Una vacanza indimenticabile! Non solo l’isola ma anche il soggiorno in questo appartamento anacaprese collocato vicinissimo alla via dello shopping e dei ristoranti . Abbiamo trovato acqua fresca , spumante , capsule x il caffè e limoni a km 0 , WIFI . Ci siamo sentiti ospiti e non turisti . Dal terrazzo si ammirava un panorama mozzafiato : mare , monte Solano , piazzetta con le panchine in tipiche maioliche. Mirella, Valeria, Elio sono stati molto disponibili con delle chicche sui spostamenti verso Capri e ristoranti esclusivi . Tutto magico ! Consiglio pienamente !

Elena est une hôte d'une grande amabilité, bienveillance, gentillesse, qui nous a accueillie chaleureusement à notre arrivée, toujours disponible et qui s'est assurée que tout allait bien, nous a donné d'excellents conseils de visites et de restaurants et qui a même fait la réservation pour nous !! Elena est vraiment incroyable et son appartement, havre de tranquillité reflète sa personnalité, on se sent chez nous et chez une amie. Nous avons aussi adoré la terrasse, petit oasis de fraicheur qu'il a même été parfois difficile de quitter. Sans aucune hésitation nous retournerons chez Elena lors d'un prochain séjour à Naples et nous le recommandons fortement. Encore merci pour tout Elena

I had a very convenient and pleasant stay in Positano, thanks to Emanuele’s quick responses and smooth communication via Whats app. The terrace offers an amazing view of the sea, and both the room and bathroom were very clean. I would love to stay at Casa Baker again the next time I visit!

Very solid spot in Amalfi. AMAZING VIEW. Porter service was amazing and highly recommended if you have big suitcases/ more than one suitcase. They also show you how to find the place if you’re not sure how to find it. 5min walk from Amalfi center.

Francesco was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make our first trip to Italy unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, his hospitality was incredible—he made us feel completely at home and was always available to help with anything we needed. Whether it was giving us local tips, helping us navigate transportation, or recommending authentic places to eat, Francesco was a true gem. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located, but it was really Francesco’s warm and genuine personality that made our stay so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better host, and we’re so grateful for everything he did to make our experience smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. Highly, highly recommended—thank you, Francesco!

It is hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay here. First of all, Gabriella is a FANTASTIC host. From the moment we started communicating she was so helpful, booking activities for us and arranging for taxis with drivers who were so friendly. And her father, Giuseppe, was so warm and welcoming as well. The home was absolutely spotless, had so many amenities, and Gabriella provided so many thoughtful and nice touches that made us feel so well loved and cared for. They truly felt like family. We were here celebrating two 25th anniversaries between our two families, as well as the graduation of our children from high school. We could not have picked a more beautiful and special place. Two of our outings - a boat tour to Capri that started and ended in Amalfi and hiking the Path of the Gods, finishing in Positano - made us feel even better about our choice of where to stay. Those other two cities were packed, but Furore was so peaceful. We highly recommend this lovely home!

We were very happy that we stayed in Praiano instead of Positano or Amalfi. The apartment was in a quiet area and the view was amazing! They had a book with all the bus information, which was very helpful.

Hands down one of my best Airbnb experiences. Mario was super communicative from the beginning and checked in on us to make sure the stay was great. The owners, Michele and Anna, were wonderful. It felt like home away from home. They really went out of their way to make sure we felt like we were at home. I would 100% recommend the fish dinner. Anna is an amazing chef! Aside from the perfect stay, be sure to rent a car, scooter, or bike for convenient transportation. Book this place, you won’t regret it!

Adele, Michela, Ilaria, and Paola were lovely hosts! They were very helpful and inviting! I got lots of recommendations for my stay and they helped coordinate luggage porters (which was extremely helpful). Praiano was a great spot in between Positano and Amalfi. It’s a quieter part of town which is a nice getaway. The best part was of this Airbnb is the incredible view! Overall, great stay!

Loved our stay in Praiano! The apartment was in a quiet location with a priceless view of the Mediterranean. Clean, comfortable, roomy just as shown in the pictures. Ivan was a great help checking in and was available for advice and instructions on getting around. Mini market is next door and a few local restaurants within a 10 minute walk. But you are mostly staying among the locals in a residential area. We much preferred staying in the relaxed atmosphere of Praiano and taking the bus to Positano and Amalfi for day trips into the crowded chaos of the tourist hot spots. The local shuttle bus stop is right outside the front door for easy access around town and to Positano. The Sita bus (big bus) can be caught from the main street to Amalfi, Sorrento or other towns. Or, just walk around Praiano and experience the local shops, restaurants, and beach clubs. Be prepared for hills and/or steps!

Esther’s apartment has a great view overlooking the beautiful coast. The apartment is about 15-20 minutes from the downtown beach area where the ferries arrive. We really enjoyed our stay in Positano.

Serena's space was truly incredible. It felt like home away from home. Not only was the apartment so comfortable and homey, but Serena herself was an incredible host. Our arrival time changed numerous time due to flight delays and some driver error (me 😅) getting to the town of Furore. She met us at the apartment at 9:30p with 2 gentlemen that we assumed were her husband and father, and they helped us carry our bags to the apartment. She gave an incredible thorough walk thru of the property and was so responsive to all of our messages. She would go above and beyond when we asked for recommendations. If you are planning a trip to the Amalfi coast and are hoping to spend some time in a peaceful environment that gets you away from all the crowds, I could not recommend Serena's property enough!
