We loved our two week stay at the apartment. The place was spacious with great views and well located with great restaurants nearby. It was a 40 min walk from the centre of Funchal which wasn’t a problem as we like to walk but there are frequent buses too. Our only issue was that the hot water system in the apartment didn’t work well. When we reported it a worker came out to fix it but there wasn’t much improvement. Otherwise the place was well equipped with comfortable beds and we would gladly stay there again.

A True Home Away From Home. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in this wonderful apartment. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-equipped it was, providing absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable and extended stay. The apartment was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished, creating a truly inviting and relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the stunning view of from the balcony – the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the surroundings. Furthermore, the location proved to be ideal for exploring the island.

The flat was exactly like the photos - well decorated and a beautiful view over the ocean. Close to groceries, great restaurants and the beach - short drive if the walk uphill is too much. Definitely glad I chose this place over some cheaper, but not as well appointed places. Only thing to note is that instructions finding and getting into the flat were not thorough enough. I did send photos and more detailed instructions to GuestReady so hopefully future renters don't get trapped, like I did, in other parts of the building. So quick tips: - the building you're looking for says "PIORNAIS RESIDENCE B1/B2" on the outside, it will not have the address listed on the outside - the elevators in this building don't give access to all flats on each floor. So you MUST take the correct elevator to reach the flat you're assigned. For this one, you need to take the elevator next to the garage door - elevator is behind a door that says "Fire Door". - car is parked on floor "-1"

Easy check-in. Parking right outside the front door, even when occupied, there was always a way to park on the street. Apartment very clean and modernly furnished. Only the sofa was through, but it wasn't used that often. The balcony has a direct view of the sea.

We had a very comfortable stay. The house is very clean and big and very well equipped. We had a great time. Check in was easy. The house is in a great location and very close to cafés and restaurants. Everything worked fine except for the dishwasher but we have notified the host :)

This Airbnb is fantastic! The place is beautiful and in a really nice neighbourhood and close to Machico. It was very clean and extremely spacious! The owners have thought about every touch and we were welcomed with a basket of local goodies! Also the communication prior to arrival was great. It has a lovely balcony for you to enjoy the sunshine. 10/10 highly recommend.

Very nice place! Nothing fancy, but you have everything you need! Walkable to downtown! It was a bit cold the week we were there and the house has no heating. We requested some electric heaters and the host provided them the next day! One day we ran out of gas, but the next day it was fixed. Overall, nothing to complain about! I totally recommend this place! Great value for the money!

So bright and beautiful for a workation!

We had a great time with lots of beautiful sunrises. The accommodation is well equipped and offers an unbeatable view. It was a little fresh on the property for us. The dirty duvet has been changed directly.

The house is very clean and pleasant inside. I liked everything, spacious kitchen, hall on the first floor! On the second 3 bedrooms are spacious, everything was very clean! The only disadvantage is the road in front of the house Thank You!

Very nice apartment! It’s a private village very near to Funchal, supermarket and the principal road. In the garden there is barbecue, so you can grill and stay with family and friends! The agency is very reactive and nice.
