Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Campania

This was our second time renting an airbnb in Positano. It was absolute perfection. We knew ahead of time what to expect with the steep climbing, and we asked our host to arrange for porters for our luggage. She was very accommodating and it was a breeze with arrival and departure. Do yourself a favor and REQUEST PORTERS FOR LUGGAGE! The property is very close to local markets, however we did not want to lug heavy water and we made arrangements ahead of time to have our host provide bottles of water, and they were waiting for us. Communication was excellent and the property is exactly like the photos. The garden is beautiful with kumquat and lemon trees. Having a washing machine with drying rack in the sun made it easier for us to pack light. We highly recommend this listing.

Tutto perfetto, Giulia sempre disponibile e gentilissima . Non mancava proprio nulla, come essere a casa propria. Unica osservazione, gli ultimi metri per arrivare a casa, per chi non è molto abituato a stradine strette e sterrate , fare attenzione. Comunque super consigliato per visitare le bellezze tra cui la vicina Pompei, Sorrento etc.. Ritorneremo sicuramente, anche il nostro cane è stato ben accettato🥰

La maison est magnifique, spacieuse et très propre. La vue de la terrasse du haut est tout simplement incroyable ! On se sent vraiment comme à la maison, la cuisine est très bien équipée, les chambres immenses et pratiques. Place de parking pour une voiture très pratique à côté de la maison. L'endroit est un point de départ idéal pour découvrir la région. Caterina nous a réservé un très bon accueil, avec de bons conseils, et même quelques cadeaux de bienvenue ! Attention cependant aux escaliers un peu raides, et à la circulation de la route très proche. A part cela, tout était parfait ! Hautement recommandé !

Chiara was extremely helpful and told us about the football match happening when we arrived. The place is conveniently located for hiking the path of the Gods trail.

We had the best time staying at Casa Francesca. It’s just far enough from the center of Positano to feel peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to walk to all the restaurants, shops, and the main beach in ten minutes. The absolute best part? The private beach. While the main beaches in Positano were packed, we had this beautiful little spot all to ourselves—complete with beach chairs and kayaks. It was a dream! The Airbnb itself was so cute, with little garden areas and amazing views from the windows and terrace. The kitchen even had welcome snacks, drinks, and a Nespresso machine, which was such a nice touch. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming! They were also quick to respond and helpful when we had questions. We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in Positano!

apologies once again for the late check in, my miscalculation ( flight delay, delay at car rental, delays due to football celebration at the city centre of Naples) all together added up and we reached the house at 2:30 am. All this while Annamaria communicated proactively with us helping us with local information. She and her daughter stayed awake and guided us to the property. I really appreciate their out of the way help. Other than that the house was in a very picturesque location. it's walkable to the bus stop, mini market and restaurants. I really recommend people visiting Amalfi from pianillo to take the bus instead of rental car as it's very difficult to find a parking place in Amalfi.

Simona and Alessio's place was stunning - very clean, with everything you'd need for a stay such as oil, salt, shampoo, soap, dressing gowns, dishwasher tablets - you name it, it was all there! They even gifted us with an extra large bottle of sparkling wine on arrival :) The view from the terrace was nothing short of stunning and to be able to enjoy it from a hot tub was unreal! Conca dei Marini was peaceful, welcoming and beautiful. Amalfi is not far down the coast, but we found we preferred the calmer vibe of Conca dei Marini overall. Simona and Alessio went above and beyond to make our arrival and departure as smooth as possible by booking taxis, carrying our luggage, and driving us in their car to the pickup spot. Couldn't have asked for more; truly blown away by their hospitality. We enjoyed sunset massages on our terrace one evening - amazing! You do need to be physically capable to make it up the steps, but there's too much to fall in love with here to let that hold you back!

Raffaele ist ein toller Gastgeber es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Trotz Sprachbarrieren konnten wir uns über Google translator gut verständigen. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren bei unserer Roadtrip durch Italien eine Woche mit zwei Kindern in der Wohnung und es war perfekt. Unsere Tochter hat in der Zeit krabbeln gelernt.. eine schöne Erinnerung an die Unterkunft. Von Scafati aus erreicht man alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten mit dem Auto in kurzer Zeit. Pompeji,Vesuv,Neapel und die Amalfiküste sind direkt in der Nähe. Wir haben immer vor der Tür einen kostenlosen Parkplatz gefunden. Es gibt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Mille Grazie Raffaele!

I loved staying at this apartment in Naples which was very close to the city centre. Everything was very clean and tidy and there were even some snacks/breakfast essentials in a basket which added a nice touch. I can highly recommend this stay and Valerio was a great host!

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung in dem bezaubernden Ort Anacapri. Wir haben viel unternommen und die zahlreichen wunderschönen Ecken der Insel erkundet und jeden Tag total genossen. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet, zentral gelegen und angenehm ruhig. Bianca ist ausgesprochen freundlich und entgegenkommend.

Giovanni was very responsive and helpful. He provided a great list of recommendations. He showed us around the apartment and we used a translate app to communicate with each other. The apartment is very nice and very clean. There is a free parking lot adjacent to the building but sometimes you have to drive around a few times to find as spot as people shopping nearby are in and out frequently. I would definitely recommend Giovanni’s apartment for Salerno.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Silvia and Luigi. Not only the apartment but them as hosts. Apt is exactly as pictured, the most comfortable bed!!! It is a very loud area but they provide earplugs, you will not hear anything. They had little snacks and ice cold water awaiting our arrival. They met us in the street and got us in and situated. They checked in every day and were immediately responsive to any questions. Do not hesitate to stay with them. If we return to Naples, it is the only option and we have already recommended to friends who are visiting.

We loved Positano and Robert’s place was a great spot to stay while we were there! It was centrally located enough so that everything we wanted to do/see was walkable, but far enough up the hill that it felt private and quiet. It had all the amenities we needed - we appreciated being able to do laundry before we left. And the host was informative at check-in and responsive to questions. Would definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to make it back to the amalfi coast!

Ciro ist ein toller Gastgeber! Das Haus liegt ruhig und wenn man mit einem Auto unterwegs ist, ist man in 20 Minuten im Zentrum von Neapel! Der Pool ist großartig und ein schönes großes Grundstück! Wir haben uns bei Ciro gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt!

We found this home last minute. We were staying in another accommodation which went terrible and we had to leave. We were so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this place was specially compared to our other stay. Everything worked perfectly, WiFi, ac/heating, water. Everything was perfect. You are up the steps about 20 minutes down to the central locations of Positano, if you don’t like steps this may be an issue but everything in Positano is vertical so this will be the case for most places. We highly recommend this stay.

We had the absolute best time at this Airbnb on the Amalfi Coast—it was the perfect way to relax after my sister’s wedding. The property was stunning, peaceful, and felt like a true escape, but what made it exceptional was Jason. He went above and beyond in every way: so kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our trip perfect. He cooked us the most incredible dinner—truly the best meal we had on our vacation—and even hosted a group larger than those staying at the Airbnb with such generosity. We also used his transportation services, and he drove us AND picked us up from Amalfi for our excursions we had planned, making everything seamless and stress-free. Jason made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. His warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail made this stay unforgettable. We’re so grateful for everything he did and cannot recommend this place—and Jason—highly enough. Truly a dream experience!

Werkelijk prachtige locatie, erg rustig, je hoort bijna niks. Iets voor mensen die rust zoeken. En Salvatore was een zeer vriendelijke gastheer.

We loved staying at Vittorio’s place. The house was spacious, welcoming and had all of the amenities we needed. We particularly loved the terrace with the amazing views of the sea. We found several great restaurants nearby and found the marina so convenient for water taxis and excursions to Amalfi, Capri and Positano. The location in Praiano, while close to many things, is also a good bit quieter than the much busier towns of Amalfi and Positano but close enough to get there easily by driving or by water. We just loved it and our hosts were amazing with their recommendations and communication. 5 stars for sure!

This villa was a lovely place to stay. It’s a great location to stay and travel into Sorrento. We managed day trips to Positano/Amalfi, Naples, Pompei, and Capri. We enjoyed the lovely pastries every morning. Sitting out on the balcony with views of Vesuvius became our morning coffee ritual! There is a gorgeous garden with mandarinos, lemons and oranges! Franco was hospitable and friendly checking up on us on several occasions. We left our towels out to dry and came home to find a drying line put out for us as it rained overnight! Great restaurant recommendations from Marco. Lovely hospitality! Generous, considerate hosts! Highly recommend.

This rental worked out well for my family while we visited from the US. The house is in a peaceful, quiet, and private area. We did our research on the area and we knew this was in the country and not walkable. You really need a car if you’re going to stay here. This isn’t a negative in my opinion, just want other renters to be aware. The host was very kind and responsive. We would stay here again.

We absolutely loved the garden and the pool, and Enzo’s dad was very sweet. The house was slightly shabby, but the bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was really great. It was perfect for a family holiday, and we would definitely return to Ischia. The mini market is extremely useful and convenient. It was confusing that both the listing address and the map on the listing displayed different incorrect addresses. The last message Enzo sent contained the correct address, but it still left us confused and lost on arrival as the taxi driver had no idea where the house was. Luckily Enzo’s dad came and saved us. The kitchen was mostly well equipped, but lacked enough glasses, mugs and serving dishes to make cooking and serving family meals easy. However, we would still highly recommend the villa as the garden and pool made it a fabulous holiday destination. We loved Ischia. Enzo’s dad brought us homemade wine and eggs from the garden, and made us feel very welcome- many thanks!

A beautiful, peaceful, relaxing location. The villa has character and the log fire is a great focal point. Outdoor spaces for eating and chatting. A few minutes drive further up the hill is an amazing viewing point with restaurant. Marina is helpful, responsive and friendly.
