Beach house vacation rentals in Campania

From start to finish, this Airbnb is one of our all time favorites! The lovely Carlo met us at the top of the hill that leads to a pathway of stairs down to his place. First of all, Positano is absolutely stunning! Imho, it is more elegant and beautful than Amalfi. But walking down the staircase into a direct view of the ocean from his lemon and flower garden was just jaw droopingly beautful. The location is perfect in that it’s slightly to the right of the town. A truly relaxing environment with incredible views! Yet the main port is just a 15 min gorgeous walk away. There are shops and restaurants a 5-10 minute walk from his place too. There’s a private beach below with less touristy restaurants, affordable umbrella chairs and relaxed locals. The house is a perfect mix of old world, cozy charm meets modern appliances. The cappuccino machine was a bonus, along with air conditioning and a large shower with great water pressure. Comfy beds, too. We are so grateful for this special stay!

We three 70+ year olds absolutely loved Barbara's place and would definitely stay there again. I could actually live there. It was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view. The restaurant just a few steps away that Barbara recommended was great...ate there three times. Barbara was very responsive and even provided some snacks and American coffee, which is hard to find. The location is high up and peaceful. It took us a couple of days to feel comfortable getting down and locating bus to bring us back up, but we did it.

Marco’s apartment was perfect. It is a very good size and well equipped. There are outstanding views from the terrace. On my arrival it was raining heavily & dark so I asked Marco if he could recommend anywhere nearby to eat. He made some good suggestions but also let me know he could arrange delivery of food from his own restaurant which is what I opted for - best choice ever !! The food and the service were outstanding so I did the same the following night. Marco was fantastic as a host. Whenever I messaged he responded almost straight away & was so helpful. I’d recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Procida & hopefully I’ll return.

This place is located right in the middle of Positano. Close to everything. Very helpful and responsive host. Nicely furnished and spacious inside. Great balcony. We stayed for our honeymoon and loved it!

Extremely clean and beautiful apartment. Very responsive host. The view was spectacular and the patio was very large and spacious. It’s very good for younger people that like to do a lot of walking and hiking. It’s very difficult to get in town especially when you have only a couple of days to explore the city. I had my mom and aunt with me and I would have preferred a hotel by the center of town. We spent a lot of money for taxi . Other than that the place and the host are wonderful and match the description on the listing .

our time here was wonderful. from the moment of booking there was a mixup with the price (my fault) and Giorgio very kindly discounted for us so we could stay. his communication up to the stay was very good. when we got there we were greeted my Giorgio and his sister who showed us around and explained everything perfectly. the apartment was exactly as described, lovely view, clean and relaxing. the hill to get there is steep but short, worth it for the view. the town is easy to get to with lots of places to eat and easy access to public transport. we highly recommend visiting negombo thermal spa, it was the highlight of the trip. if we come back to the island we would certainly book with Giorgio again

My group of 4 had a wonderful stay at Alessandro’s Airbnb! The accommodation maintains its historic charm while providing modern updates. The beds are comfortable, water is hot (or cold if you prefer!) and the location is near everything that Atrani and Amalfi have to offer, with easy access to bus(es) and ferries. I give this stay 10 stars!

Edri Beach House was everything we'd hoped for, and was as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The welcome basket of fruit and box of chocolates were a generous touch and greatly appreciated. The pool and outside area were absolutely stunning - it was secluded and peaceful, extremely well maintained, with the barbeque an added bonus. We could have easily spent all our time here. Inside was immaculately clean, and contained all the essentials needed for a family stay, and we felt right at home. Raimondo was an excellent host - he was extremely friendly, helpful and gave several recommendations for things to see and do in the area, including answering questions before and during our visit. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We had an amazing stay here, and didn't want to leave - it is a perfect base to explore the Amalfi Coast, and we'd recommend without hesitation. Such a wonderful home with incredible views! Very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. We loved sitting out on the terrace taking in the breathtaking vista! The shared pool was fun! Walking distance to and from the bus after doing many stairs was appreciated. Maria was very helpful with advice of what to see and do! Loved eating at Da Costantino across the street! Exceptional food and wonderful family owned restaurant with stunning views as well! A must do! We will definitely tell friends and family about Casa Angelica! A perfect place to stay to experience Positano!

Perfect location and great space. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Family of 4 adults with 2 bathrooms was an extra plus. Having access to hotel was a bonus. Monica arranged a driver for our transportation from train and leaving to airport . Location was walkable to all places.

Alessandra’s villa is gorgeous! The view was phenomenal and the place very clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend. Love to come back sometime. There is obviously lots of stairs to go anywhere in the area so might want to consider that when booking. Thank you Alessandra!

We had the best holiday - loved the house (nicer than the photos and perfect - every little detail is taken care of!) the location (local neighbourhood, no tourists but can walk to beautiful spots including Sorrento in less than half hour) and the whole area is fabulous - as well as lazing by pool (a lot!) we went to Sorrento Positano, Amalfi, Ravello Pompei and Naples - and the highlight of our trip - an amazing boat trip to Capri with Roberto/Kraken via Sorrento Holidays - unforgettable and one of best things we have ever done. Also recommend Garden Villa for cocktails and sunset!

Beautiful property with great views of the Amalfi coast from the outside dining area. Gates protecting the pool which was really important to us with our toddler. The gardens are gorgeous with plenty of fruit trees and herbs. Small shops, gelateria and patecceria 5 minute walk away and sorrento town 15/20 mins in the car. Hosts were very responsive and helped us out with any questions we had

The property is in a simply beautiful setting, with amazing patios and a pool we made full use of. The host and staff were wonderful and helped us in every way possible. We loved our visit and the views!!!! Just 2 notes, if you have physical challenges you will struggle getting up and down the stairs between the street and property (there are many!). And if you want to spend a lot of time in the town of Amalfi, there is no easy way to travel back and forth. There is a bus that is exceptionally crowded without stops called out so very stressful. And taxis from the center to the property go off meter and can charge as much as 100-130 euro for the 15 minute drive when busy. There is a town shuttle in the peak period I’m told but it was not running during our stay. The staff however were wonderful and gave us rides when they could; Alessandrina assisted us with tour arrangements and was very helpful; and we loved Dina and her sister Enzah who lived on the property and helped us so much!

Looks just like the pictures and the surrounding beauty is even prettier in person! You need to be able to do a lot of steps, for this kind of vacation in general. Our host was so helpful and picked us up in Minori (just below). They stayed in contact our entire stay. We loved it and highly recommend it!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, cozy place and would love to return! The house is perfectly located right on the beach — we truly enjoyed the stunning view, the soothing sound of the waves, and the fresh sea breeze. We arrived quite late, and Salvatore was incredibly kind and flexible; he even bought us pasta and wine since the shops were already closed. He also helped us organize sightseeing tours in the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. All in all, this house is a true gem — perfect for relaxing on the terrace and soaking in the beauty around you.

This was our second time renting an airbnb in Positano. It was absolute perfection. We knew ahead of time what to expect with the steep climbing, and we asked our host to arrange for porters for our luggage. She was very accommodating and it was a breeze with arrival and departure. Do yourself a favor and REQUEST PORTERS FOR LUGGAGE! The property is very close to local markets, however we did not want to lug heavy water and we made arrangements ahead of time to have our host provide bottles of water, and they were waiting for us. Communication was excellent and the property is exactly like the photos. The garden is beautiful with kumquat and lemon trees. Having a washing machine with drying rack in the sun made it easier for us to pack light. We highly recommend this listing.

Phenomenal view! Great location. Near the beach great use of space and loved the doors to close off the living space at night so would not disturb anybody watching a movie house # went out of their way to help us with baggage get us in early and we’re always accessible and friendly!

Really nice place next to the beach and the ferry! There’s a lot of traffic in front of the house, but this is inevitable. Very friendly host.

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was really welcoming, well furnished and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The location was perfect, and we immediately felt at home. Thanks again for everything!

We had the best time staying at Casa Francesca. It’s just far enough from the center of Positano to feel peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to walk to all the restaurants, shops, and the main beach in ten minutes. The absolute best part? The private beach. While the main beaches in Positano were packed, we had this beautiful little spot all to ourselves—complete with beach chairs and kayaks. It was a dream! The Airbnb itself was so cute, with little garden areas and amazing views from the windows and terrace. The kitchen even had welcome snacks, drinks, and a Nespresso machine, which was such a nice touch. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming! They were also quick to respond and helpful when we had questions. We would recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in Positano!

Simona and Alessio's place was stunning - very clean, with everything you'd need for a stay such as oil, salt, shampoo, soap, dressing gowns, dishwasher tablets - you name it, it was all there! They even gifted us with an extra large bottle of sparkling wine on arrival :) The view from the terrace was nothing short of stunning and to be able to enjoy it from a hot tub was unreal! Conca dei Marini was peaceful, welcoming and beautiful. Amalfi is not far down the coast, but we found we preferred the calmer vibe of Conca dei Marini overall. Simona and Alessio went above and beyond to make our arrival and departure as smooth as possible by booking taxis, carrying our luggage, and driving us in their car to the pickup spot. Couldn't have asked for more; truly blown away by their hospitality. We enjoyed sunset massages on our terrace one evening - amazing! You do need to be physically capable to make it up the steps, but there's too much to fall in love with here to let that hold you back!

Quiet and beautiful sea view, Vesuvius can be seen in the distance, with a magnificent sunrise in the morning.Everything is wonderful as described.The host booked us a parking spot in advance and everything was solved right away, the service was top notch, thank you so much for exchanging with the host's father to enjoy the art work
