Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Camp Nelson

We loved our stay at Maxine’s! It was located perfectly for us to visit family and a short drive from the wedding we were attending. The beds were a bit small for 2 people but we had no issues and the place is so cute and cozy! Check in was easy and Maxine provided clear and easy instructions from check in to check out. Lots of great recommendations for food and activities. We loved the yard and will definitely book again in the future!

My husband and I stay in Airbnbs when we travel. This was an excellent home and we would rate it highly. It was also very kid friendly (our son just turned 11). The game room was a trip saver since Lake Kaweah’s fish refused to bite even after 3 days of trying. It also rained most of the trip so we didn’t try the hot tub at all, shame as it has a beautiful view. We were a group of 5 and two of us cooked a lot while we were there. The kitchen was well supplied! Overall I would highly recommend this home. The owner/ co-host were very responsive and friendly over the chat and everything was as it was depicted and more! We hope we get to make our way back here in a couple of years.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had!!! Catherine and Tom are truly best hosts you could ask for. Very welcoming, helpful, kind and eager to help with anything we asked for. Their property is something out of this World. Peaceful, calm, just beautiful. The cottage was super clean and very cozy. Lots of puzzles, board games, books. Beautiful hiking trail on the property. Can't wait to visit their magical farm again!

Cabin Grimm is a perfect getaway if you are looking for some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of life. It such a cozy and peaceful cabin surrounded by beauty. You go for a nice walk around right outside or drive just a short distance for some beautiful hikes. Gabby is absolutely wonderful as well and very responsive to any questions you may have and has wonderful recommendations.

This was one of the most beautiful houses and beautiful river spots we've ever stayed in. The house was gorgeous: the furniture beautiful AND comfortable, kitchen was extremely well stocked, everything sparkling clean -- just a perfect house. The attention to detail/artistic sensibility was everywhere -- the outside areas were so beautiful and thoughtfully designed -- you could wander around and every time see something new! Loved that the hosts allows dogs! We rarely travel with our dogs and it added so much joy to see them romping on the beach!

Staying at Lisa’s was exactly what I was looking for in my fall get away. The cabin is cute, comfy, clean, and well organized. It’s so welcoming and the scrabble bucket was a trip fav.

So glad we stayed here! Location, price, and amenities (including hot tub) are fantastic. Place is popular and well-loved, but very comfortable. We will definitely look to stay here again the next time we are in the area.
