The stay at the Airbnb was just great. Quiet location, easily accessible from there everything on the island. There is even a small waterfall to explore a 5-minute walk away. Ana Rita was a great host who gave a lot of advice and spoiled with little things in the house such as shopping bags, backpacks with towels, rain tapes, toiletries, tea and and and and, the guests. Always happy to come back.

Amazing place to spend your time in the island. Great for family and friends. Massive space indoor and outdoor. A big green garden for relaxing. Perfect location to reach all island sides Friendly welcoming and a generous host! Would recommend for everyone

Vitoria's place was a wonderful little oasis right on the coastline. I loved how you could open the sliding glass windows to let the light and sound of the surf in. It was a little quirky in that the bedroom and bath are on the first floor, the living room and kitchen on the second floor, and the computer desk and patio were on the third floor, but after being there for a few days, it made sense because the views were better from the upper floors where you spend most of your time. Parking is a bit of challenge because it's a dead end street, so when you parallel park at the end of the street, you have to back out around all the other cars parked there until you get to the side street to turn onto. Despite the quirks, I would definitely stay there again!

We stayed in Fatima’s place in Maia for 8 days. The house is in a beautiful location and is very well furnished. We wanted peace and quiet next to the ocean and that is exactly what we got. The village of Maia is a small but beautiful location close to many beautiful viewpoints . Fatima was very responsive and provided clear and timely instructions. The house has all that you need for a relaxing vacation. The rear balcony has very beautiful views of the ocean and the mountains. Thank you Fatima for your hospitality.

If you want to experience the real Azores, then this is the place to stay. It mixes old with new - the bathroom has been updated but the kitchen retains the original feeling. All topped with an amazing modern living room giving beautiful views of the vast Atlantic Ocean. Located in a great place to explore the rest of the island. We had a hire car.

Words cannot describe this amazing property and the peace and tranquility it offers! Francisco and his sister welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home. We felt like royalty entering through the huge gate, and the views were amazing in all directions. We spent at least an hour walking the grounds and taking pictures of flowers and the landscaping. It's gorgeous and the eatate is historic! The swimming area is right down the street and there is so much to do within a short drive. The house was well-stocked, comfortable, and cozy, and had everything we needed, including towels for the beach and hot springs. We loved the box of treats too! Thank you Francisco for being a wonderful host and for all your recommendations and assistance. We would love to return!
