Lovely 2 night stay in this apartment, perfect for our quiet girls weekend away . Very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend . Would definitely book again if I I ever travel to Nottingham again .

This is our 2nd stay at Lucys' beautiful cottage, and we had a fabulous time. We love the cottage and location so quiet,peaceful and close to all the Peak district attractions. Lucy is a fantastic host,so helpful,kind and responsive. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting this area.

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely little place to stay for the two of you, beautiful village, 25 minute drive to Bakewell, and very clean and nicely decorated space. Thank you to the hosts for being responsive and providing some snacks and essentials, that was really appreciated. Our stay felt private, with a lovely sunny patio garden with gorgeous views. Perfect 😊

Sarah’s home was a beautiful paradise and perfect for a quiet break away! The home was described perfectly and came with everything you need to get lost inside your own bubble! The garden was perfect to enjoy in the sun, loads of space, to enjoy with a BBQ and make the most of the hot tub. The home was modern with a minimal look that really stood out and made the house a home. For those car enthusiasts, it’s perfect, parking your car within the back yard, leaving you nothing to worry about! Sarah was very accommodating and allowed us to extend our checkout time which allowed us to enjoy her little home that bit more! Her response time was second to none and answered any questions you may have. Sad the time away went too quickly, but would visit Sarah’s home again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a beautiful couple of days away, it was just what we needed!

Great few nights away for Halloween! Cosy barn tucked away, surrounded by trees and fields. Swimming in the heated pool at night in October was great. Geoff was always at hand with any queries or recommendations. The Halloween decorations was a nice touch for the kids to keep pranking each other throughout our stay. Great setting for a general chil out with films and board games. Hartlebury Castle was a great few hours out and not too expensive. The Willow and Boar was 2 minutes up the road for a nice breakfast. Would highly recommend The Pool house! Thanks to Geoff and Alan!

Just had a 3night stay here. Absolutely loved it. The caravan was very clean and had all we needed. The site is brilliant for all the family with plenty to do and a great base for exploring the surrounding areas. Highly recommend the Old Dog pub which is 5min drive from the site. We definitely book again

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful weekend here. Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous, tranquil setting with superb hosts, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They had thought of everything from a welcome bottle of wine and sweet treats to robes, sliders and even treats for the dog! Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, lovely pool and hot tub. We will definitely return. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation in quiet and peaceful surroundings this is the place for you.

Our third stay at the Shippon and our two autistic boys treat it like a home from home. So relaxing I didn’t want to leave. Our youngest loves water and animals so swimming, hot tub, fussing the lovely dogs, feeding Monty the horse carrots, all while being followed around by the chickens. He was in heaven! A great base for visiting family and lots to do nearby if we want to. This time we went to hoo farm, but we were generally all happy to stay at the Shippon. The Shippon is spotless and to cosy and comfortable. Our dogs love sitting on the patio watching the world go by and Newport dog park is literally a 5-10 minute walk and they love it. Thanks so much Sara and Phil, you are always so helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Josh was really responsive and helped us at very short notice when we needed to move out of our previous air bnb. The apartment itself is lovely, with a well stocked kitchen, 2 great bathrooms and on-site parking. It’s also well situated only a short drive away from an array of shops and restaurants. We would happily stay again if we were in the area. It felt like home from home.

Our stay at this beautiful house was most enjoyable. It's very rural. You can't really walk to places if you have young children. Not alot of footpaths. But if you want a nice quiet time to recharge your batteries this is the place. So relaxing. Well worth a visit. Will go back. Thank You. Chris and Hugh Maxwell and Family. 🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

We had a fantastic stay. Tina and Martin were excellent hosts and made us feel welcome from the start. They were flexible with check-in and check-out times, which we really appreciated. The little touches in the home made all the difference – fresh eggs from their own chickens and milk waiting for us in the fridge. The house was well-equipped with plenty to do, including board games, an Xbox, DVDs, and a barbecue. The surroundings were beautiful, with friendly animals and a peaceful atmosphere. We also enjoyed a lovely walk recommended by the hosts. All in all, a wonderful stay. We would highly recommend it.

We had a great stay in this lovely house. Everything was as described and the addition of tea bags, coffee etc was a nice touch. The host was helpful and answered any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this house for anybody wanting a weekend away in a peaceful location.

We had a wonderful stay at Lizzy’s barn. The location is beautiful and very convenient for Chatsworth, Matlock and Bakewell. The host communicated brilliantly and replied very promptly to all of our questions. We highly recommend Lizzy’s barn, and can’t wait to return.

Rebbecca's little retreat, is just what I expected and had every thing I needed for my 2 night short stay. Car parking was so handy, for off loading and loading luggage. The garden had a seated area, to enjoy the view and watch the sheep. The summer house was an added bonus. I didn't meet Rebecca, however her texts were very helpful and friendly. If I was in the area again I would definately be booking in !

We were absolutely happy with our stay! The cottage was exactly as described – very clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by a beautiful, peaceful garden. The shower was fantastic, and everything we needed was there. Julie and her parents were always available, very friendly, and helpful – we couldn’t have asked for more. One small suggestion: it might be helpful to include the bed width in the listing, especially for "bigger, taller or larger" ;-) guests. Still, a wonderful place to relax – highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Alton Lodge. Ideal location next to the woods with beautiful walks and a bike track which kept the kids busy kids all weekend. We loved the swing at the hot tub, and Watson kindly made sure the fire was burning whilst we had lunch at the Talbot. What a picturesque walk. The lodge had plenty of room for the 7 of us, it was clean, well equipped and we had lots of fun playing table tennis. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay again.
