Justus & Heleen's house is absolutely fantastic, the photos don't do it justice as it is larger and better equipped than described. Extremely comfortable and for us ideally situated being only 10 minutes drive from the Medemblik Regatta Center where we were sailing. The area is peaceful, and local supermarkets excellent as well as a local restaurant serving good food. We will be back soon!

The place is in a great location and offers a silence that is like no other. Really excellent for a secluded getaway! We had booked the accommodation spontaneously for one night, as our actual accommodation was overbooked. The owners responded incredibly quickly after we were able to contact them through the neighbors. Without their intervention, we wouldn't have known where to find a place to stay that night. Fantastic stay and perfect for a group of friends! We found it difficult to find fun activities in the area, but you can prepare for this. And for a short weekend this was all right. Recommended!?

What a wonderfully beautiful holiday home! Everything was taken care of to the last detail: clean, tidy and fully equipped. You notice that this has really been paid attention to. Communication with the host was more than good – quick, friendly and clear. This address is absolutely recommended as far as we are concerned. We would love to come back here again!

The house is sensational. Very impressive high rooms, huge and very tastefully decorated. Everything you need is there. You can park right in front of the house. Just right for our family trip (10 people). We wanted a quiet house near the North Sea. Sandra and Nic are great hosts. We can all recommend the house.

What a great place to stay for a few days in this region! Ina's place was very comfortable and had plenty of room along with your own private waterfront seating area. The kitchen was stocked full of goodies for your stay and the bathroom shower (and spa bath) was very luxurious. Ina was a great host and provided the GPS coordinates to reach her property, as it is not shown accurately on the driving maps. Definitely worth a four or five night stay.

Perfect place to relax in the countryside. The house is amazing and the surrounding area is gorgeous, lots of lovely walks right from the front door, and only a short drive to some lovely towns/cities. We stayed here for a week with our 5 month old daughter, Marlies is a great host and provided everything we needed for the week, it made it a lot easier having access to a washer and dryer! It was also great to meet the piggies Babe and Lizzy. We would love to come back again in the future!

The Little Palace is worth a trip. There is a lot to discover and the morning sun through the backyard into the kitchen or through the stained glass window above the bed is simply enchantingly picturesque. Kitty and Erik had filled the refrigerator well and with high-quality items and we were pleased with the many fresh rolls on the day of our arrival. The rocking horse was the big highlight for my daughter (2.5). The Buurtcentrum diagonally opposite is highly recommended, also a beautiful place for culture, food and to linger.

We spent very nice days in this beautiful house. The terrace directly on a small canal with a view over the meadows offered pure relaxation. The area is ideal for cycling along the canals and blooming tulip fields. Trudi was a very nice and attentive host. Thank you! Maria and Heiko

Lydia and her husband are extremely accommodating and very nice. If you like to stay a little simpler and have your own little terrain away from the hustle and bustle, this is a wonderful address! In addition, the accommodation (converted construction trailer) is already something special. Groningen itself has everything to offer and is always worth a trip. We will always be happy to inquire whether the accommodation is available.

Cosy cottage in a very peaceful area. Jacinta and Paul and lovely hosts. Breakfast (incuding fresh eggs from resident chickens) exceeded expectations.

A very nice cottage to enjoy in peace. The private terrace is very nice to enjoy. When the sun is out you have sun all day. The cottage has all the amenities and shops are within walking distance.

We had a lovely weekend at Annie and Jaring's place. They are very nice and service-oriented. Nice cottage and super garden to relax from our walks and excursions. Had a very tasty and extensive breakfast. Recommended and well worth it!

Very nice holiday cottage on quiet campsite. From the platform in the back of the garden you have a nice view of an open plain, we saw a few deer passing by in the early morning. The cottage has a beautiful garden, is also full of comforts and the contact with the owner is fine. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀

We loved our stay at Thomas's place. The caravan is spacious and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was also very complete in terms of furniture with both sun and shade. However, we were bothered by mosquitoes so we definitely recommend bringing a mosquito spray.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

I would happily recommend this property for anyone to stay at. Even just walking onto the property we found it to be stunning! So beautiful and artistic inside and out. We especially loved the fully stocked kitchen and made a beautiful meal that we ate together at the table. So gezellig!

What a super cozy and cozy chalet. Very nicely decorated and a beautiful location by the water. Renting a sloop is a fantastic naturalness in Friesland, but we have also enjoyed the cycling routes and the crossing with the many ferries. I'd love to come back!!!
