Perfect place to stay if you enjoy the beautiful, quiet surroundings of the Beetsterzwaag forest. Great for a family of 4 with small children. There’s a playground across the street with an animal farm. The supermarket is within walking distance (10 min)., And you are literally around the corner from biking and walking trails. And, only 30 mins away from a city like Groningen or about 1h from the Wadden sea coast. The hosts are warm, friendly and very helpful.

A very cute and cozy cottage in the dunes. Everything is very clean and tidy. In the kitchen, our stay lacked sharp knives and a grater. Otherwise well equipped. There were four of us in winter and the living room area offered a little too little seating (1 small sofa and two armchairs were quickly occupied). For five people, a chair would also be missing at the dining table. For us, it was a very stylish and warm place at Christmas. The renovation of the house is well done and we were able to marvel at nature even at rainy moments in all directions. Overall we had a wonderful time and are very grateful!

Very good contact with the hosts before our vacation, there were no more questions left for the vacation and the contact during the vacation was not necessary. The house is on the edge of a holiday park. Really very quiet with a view of the countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need. The rest of the house is also very well equipped and tastefully decorated The pictures and description of the cottage as well as the garden correspond to reality. We only felt the staircase to the upper floor was quite steep. Upon arrival, there was a bottle of red wine for us as a warm welcome. Thank you Ruud and Gea for letting us be your guests.

Last weekend I had an unforgettable stay with friends in a beautiful house surrounded by nature. The house was spacious and comfortable, ideal for our group. The area offered plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure, with beautiful walks and a visit to a charming village. It was a perfect weekend to enjoy and recharge together, and we look forward to coming back again.

We were on site over New Year's Eve and were totally happy with the location and quiet surroundings. The house is well equipped and we felt right at home. With the cold temperatures, the oven has a pleasant atmosphere. We can highly recommend the house.

We came to get a breath of fresh air and that worked out well with wind force 7! It was extra nice to sit by the fireplace and warm up in the evening. Very nice to stay in the village with everything around the corner, yet nice and quiet on the outskirts of the village. Felt like a warm nest. Definitely a place to come back to again!

We stayed a few days during the Christmas holiday in this beautiful cottage. We so much enjoyed this romantic characteristic Eilander cottage ❤️ We found the bedstee so cozy and the decor is very cozy. We felt completely at home and were very sorry to leave. The contact with Alida was also very pleasant! If you are looking for a cottage to slow down, sleep in a bed, play games at the nice dining table and sink into the soft cuddle bench, then we can definitely recommend this cottage! In addition, Schiermonnikoog is a great place and the cottage is fantastically located in the village 👌🏻✨

From start to finish just perfect accommodation, we were there with three generations of our family, it was an ideal fit for everyone. My already older in-laws stayed on the ground floor, very close to the toilet and bathroom, for us parents and our child there was a good retreat. We have never experienced such a well-equipped apartment, there was nothing missing. Even Nespresso capsules were there, lots of spices vinegar oil, all kinds of kitchen appliances, enough pans and pots, enough dishes, a dishwasher with plenty of tabs . The communication also went smoothly, someone who also lives on the premises proactively inquired with us if there was anything else he could help us, he kindly asked again the next day. So thanks also to Julian. In addition, the quiet and relaxed environment in the countryside, with the water around it, simply magnificent. It couldn't be better!

We had a wonderful stay at Hari's house. He personally welcomed us and explained everything. The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures and it has everything you could think of. Also for 12 people not tight at all. Highly recommend!

The cottage is wonderfully quiet in the middle of fields, perfect for relaxing. We were there in winter, with the gas stove we were able to heat the living space very well. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and the Christmas tree was a very nice detail that we were happy about in the pre-Christmas season. Wi-Fi worked flawlessly and communication with Frootje was also straightforward. All in all highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet break!

Maurits really is a super host. Friendly, responsive, helpful; among the very best hosts at airbnbs we've stayed. The kitchen did not have a microwave, and he bought one for us. Would stay with him anytime anywhere. Location was perfect, walk to bus stops, center of town, and both an Albert Heijn and Jumbo. The house was an authentic schipperswonig, but outfitted with an electronic lock system and heating system that was quiet and effective. Note three things to guests: (1) typical Dutch flight of stairs, but good handrail and perfectly navigable (better than most); (2) oven and mirrors at height suitable for > 180 cm tall Dutch person; (3) Groningen is a university town and current next door neighbors are students who had extremely noisy friends every Thursday night (very late); they did respond to our complaint, but needed to be told twice. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Had a very nice stay! Upon arrival, some "start-up problems", these were immediately seriously picked up by Gaby and well resolved. We felt right at home in this airbnb. Cozy furnishings and equipped with every comfort. If you are looking for a quiet location: look no further :) Beautifully located on the water. It is remote, but a car is necessary for a message.
