Cabin vacation rentals in Buena Vista

Booked a last minute getaway with a large group of friends. The home was clean and spacious. Nestled perfectly in natures surrounding, every angle of the wraparound porch provided a picturesque backdrop. We had a great stay and would recommend this home. The bedroom/bathroom count provided for great privacy for our large party. We didn’t get a chance to get in the hot tub, but man we wanted to. As mentioned in other reviews, the altitude sickness was real. Every member of our party experienced different symptoms at one point or another. As regular travelers to the mountains, this was odd for the bulk of us. The heater in the home was on and working but struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature. All of the bedrooms were fairly cold at night. Maybe ask for additional blankets if you’re visiting during the frigid months.

Our stay in this magnificent cabin was nothing short of magical—it truly felt like we were living in a movie scene! While the listing description was flawless, the pictures don’t do it justice. The cabin is even more breathtaking in person, offering a pristine and serene escape. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Lori and Scott are exceptional hosts—attentive, welcoming, and always available to answer any questions before and during our stay. The cabin itself is stocked with everything you could possibly need, making it a true home away from home. Lori and Scott’s warmth and hospitality made us feel more like friends and family rather than just guests. This was our second stay at Alpenglow and it is our favorite Airbnb. The cabin is beautifully furnished, very comfortable and has everything you need, from a well stocked kitchen to games. The setting is peaceful, surrounded with tall pines and a mountain vista. We love the location for its access to great ski touring. We will definitely be back!!

We had to book this last minute due to our other Cabin having a water pipe burst. We feel like we lucked out, especially with the hot tub. We had attempted a few days of snowboarding and the hot tub was great for the soreness. The cabin is so cute and in a beautiful location, we will definitely stay there again!

The place was great - cozy interior with amazing views. Hanna was an excellent host, providing clear instructions and very responsive.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Mountain Escape Anna’s home was everything we hoped for! It was immaculate, cozy, and stocked with everything—from a fully equipped kitchen to high-quality soaps and shampoos. The garage was a huge plus for keeping our car out of the snow. The sunrises from the patio were breathtaking, and the hot tub under the stars was the perfect way to end the day. The location is peaceful yet close enough to Fairplay and Breckenridge for day trips. Anna is an exceptional host, providing a great guidebook with local recommendations and being super responsive. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-stocked, and relaxing getaway, this is it! We can’t wait to return.

We enjoyed our stay! 33 minutes from lots of activities in Breckinridge. Plenty of beds and space. Must need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to drive up to the house when snowing.

We had a great time at The Deck! The view from the deck was fantastic. The cabin is a 10-15 minute drive to Breckenridge so we were close enough to restaurants and skiing while also feeling secluded for a mountain getaway. The cabin was super clean and looked just like the photos. Overall 10/10 experience!

Jodi's place was great! We got to check in early and the views were amaing! Our toddler loved the loft bedroom! Would stay again!

Mark & Nancy were on top of everything before we got to the cabin. From vehicle recommendations to all of the info we needed to get in. The airbnb was stocked with everything we needed along with fun card and board games to keep everyone entertained. One couple on the trip even got engaged at the top of the hill right by the airbnb with the beautiful mountains in the background! 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful cozy cabin. Snowed in adventure. Came here for a quick stay for some activities in the mountains. Well stocked kitchen, has everything you need. Would stay again.

Kim’s place was great! It is a few minutes outside town, but the property is so pretty with views of the mountain. It was great for our group of 3 families. It felt like visiting a friends’ family cabin. Would suggest staying here!

Stu’s place was amazing… so beautiful and in a very peaceful and remote place. A little slice of heaven that is much needed in this fast pace and busy life. It was difficult to navigate in a winter storm and about 45 minute drive to a store or gas station… but we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and all the amenities they Stu had to offer.

Tina's listing was comfortable and very cozy. The property was well-stocked with everything we required to enjoy our week-long stay. It was an ideal location to unwind while being in close proximity to Breckenridge and FairPlay. We appreciated the pool table, playing games, and also enjoyed the hot tub. I appreciated that our pets were secure outside with the fenced yard when they needed to exit. The host was highly responsive when I had any inquiries. I am looking forward to bringing my adult children back here, as I am confident they will appreciate the cabin.

I stayed at the cabin for a month and a half and enjoyed everyday up there.

Less than 10 minute drive from Monarch Mountain, this was a perfect getaway for our mid-week ski trip! Only about 20 minutes from Salida for restaurants and breweries. Loved how tucked away this spot was and the decor was perfect!

A lovely spot here, especially if you're bringing a pup along! The home was warm and welcoming, the fenced yard was wildly convenient for the dog, and the location was beautiful up in the foothills. Highly recommend!

These cabins are so cute and cozy, and very pet friendly. The staff is excellent - very responsive and helpful. The location is great - walking distance to restaurants and shops. We have enjoyed our stay here more than once and will definitely go back!!

My family and I had a great time staying at Clarissa's place! It's located just a short drive outside the town of Salida, and is both peaceful and private. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, there were tons of games for the kids, and the cabin was very clean. We spent our weekend going on hikes, fishing the Arkansas river, and enjoying what nature had to offer. 5 out of 5 stars for sure. We'll be back! PS: She has an excellent vinyl collection that I strongly recommend checking out.

This cabin is the perfect getaway! The views are gorgeous and it’s located in a peaceful area. I enjoyed how the cabin itself was roomy and yet very cozy. The hot tub was such a bonus too! The hosts communicated very well and their instructions were clear. Highly recommend this as your next mountain stay!

Stayed here for a bachelorette party and it was the perfect space for it! Lovely cabin feel and cozy atmosphere. Would recommend!
