Absolutely amazing stay at Casa cu Drag! The house was well equipped and the traditional Maramureş interior design made the stay very authentic. Lots of things to do around the accommodation and really nice places to eat.

Came back to Casa din Vale after a few years for the wonderful, picture-pretty village of Breb, the simple joys of living in a humble historical wooden cottage, the quiet and peace of the area, the friendly and welcoming hosts and delicious foods offered by the local restaurants (and grannies 😊). Left with recharged batteries and a soul filled with the beauty of the place and people. We chose this type of accomodation instead of a hotel or B&B because we value it's authenticity and charm and this makes up for any modern-day comforts that may be missing (worth noting that high speed wi-fi is available and works great). Hope to come back soon!

Love this place! Comfortable bedding, spacious and great hosts. They live within the compound of their Airbnb. Food was delicious and generous in portions. Some of the best Romanian food we had during our trip. Home cooked food is the best! By the way, at night, just outside their compound you can actually capture the Milky Way on a clear night! Naked eyes hard to see by the with your camera!
