The area offers Natural Hot Springs, Boating, Camping, Wind Surfing, Kayaking, Hiking, Hunting, Mountain Biking, Offroading, River Rafting, SUP, Snow sports at Alta Sierra, Archery, Outdoor Shooting Range, etc. The options are endless with an open mind. Kernville is 18 miles away (25 min drive). Alta Sierra is 20 miles away (35 min drive). Sequoia National PARK is 3 hours away.

Use the pods as a convenient stop between Death Valley, Tahoe/Mammoth Mountain and the California Coastal cities.

Stay with the Horses!

Western rustic 3 bedroom, 2+ bathroom home on a working horse ranch. Near Hwy 395 at the base of the Sierras. The views are incredible. The fresh air even better. Each room has it’s own AC unit for our guests’ comfort. Private entrance. A bunk room can accommodate additional guests for an additional fee. Horseback riding lessons are available, contact host for additional information. If you are bringing your pets, please send a message inquiring about additional deposit and nightly fee.

“The Glory Hole” at Rusty’s Chicken Ranch

Some 100 years in the past when this now Ghost Town was bustling with 1000’s of people during the Gold Rush Days, this row house was a bordello. The cabin has all the comforts of home in one cozy 14’x16’ room with a TV, DVD player (some DVD’s provided), a refrigerator, a small propane stove/oven a toilet, sink, and a tub/shower. On the back porch is a propane BBQ grill where you can relax, cook your meal, and enjoy the view of the Main Street (Butte) which only is a short walk away.
