Vacation rentals in Biscayne

We had a fantastic stay! We were the only ones renting at the time, making it quite lovely to have the place ourselves. Emily is a fantastic cook, so I recommend planning at least a few meals through the host. If you do your own food, plan your meals (the host can take you shopping before leaving) because it costs for the boat ride to get more supplies. Belle and Bruno were the best four-legged hosts, so if you love large dogs, you will enjoy them as we did. They swim out to play with the dolphins pretty much daily! Eugene has a wealth of knowledge about what to do and see; he is your best resource. The young lad Omar helped with everything, including showing me how to fish.

Our family loved our stay at Driftwood. Jennifer and Hugo communicated clearly and helpfully before and throughout our stay. We loved taking out the paddleboards and kayaks into the water and had a blast exploring Caye Caulker. It was an exceptional five days in Belize!

This place is magical. It's beautifully decorated with the blues and greens of the sea. The photos are a great guide, and it's even better than it looks in them. The windows in the master bedroom facing the sunset are glorious - there are only palm trees between you and the sea. There are two balconies, both with a really fun selection of hammocks and really comfortable chairs, swing seats and even swing beds. Perfectly positioned for watching the sunset, and with outdoor plugs so you can plug in a fan if it's too hot. The other rooms are also gorgeous and full of character, with really comfortable beds. Also - beautiful bathrooms! And a well-equipped kitchen. Although the property is close to bars and the Split, the island shuts down early on weekdays - everything was quiet by 8.30/9. The Saturday we were there was a bit noisier with people partying at the swimming spot outside the house, but on the whole we found it a really peaceful location.

The best feature of Blu Zen is its staff. They are professional, hard-working, helpful, kind & friendly - that applied to everybody. Carmen's unit was more beautiful in person & squeaky clean. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and the A/C units in each room enabled us to specifically control each "zone". Shower water pressure and temp were excellent. We shopped for essentials at the Mercado. Some things were expensive ($12 - 1/2 gal. milk) but overall prices were fair given we were on an island. The local Greek yogurt, hummus and fresh bakery cinnamon bread were outstanding. We liked the pizza, Wed happy hour wings and cocktails at LaFogata. We had a very disappointing meal/service at Lotus. Our favorite restaurants on the north island were the Happy Lobster (walkable) and El Ben TNT (they picked us up). Bliss Beach (a bike or cart ride away) on the west side was gorgeous. The winds and stinky sargassum unfortunately made BZ's beautiful beach unusable for us ;-(.

This place is SO cute. Tip of the hat for the architecture and design choices, wow. If you like staying in really cute places, this is it (don’t laugh: cuteness is one of my AirBNB prerequisites!). It is right next to the air strip and you’ll hear planes if you’re at “home” during the day. Each airplane takes like 5 seconds to take off or land so it’s not a big deal at all. This location is not near the hustle/bustle of Caye Caulker. Personally, I like this because I love crushing my step count on vacation, and I also prefer to sleep away from the noise (no airplanes land at night). But if you don’t like walking, not a problem: there are tons of bikes to borrow, and it’s extremely easy to grab a taxi golf cart. The pool was so welcome after a long, hot day. I really liked the place! It’s a bit far from things, so just know that if it’s important to you to be near stuff.

I am very happy with my stay at this private, secluded cabin. Jordan and Ann were great hosts. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Belize City. If i had any questions or concerns I was always able to contact Jordan for a quick response. The location was perfectly nestled in city center for a nice walk to local spots. I felt very safe the entire time. If you want true Belize (before heading to the Cayes) go here and have a tour of the Mayan ruins and Belize City. There is a lot of beautiful, diverse culture and history. Don't forget to book a pedicure! The massage was really nice after a long day of walking and touring. Thank you for the home away from home! See you soon.

Wow! What a fantastic place! Everything you need to stay on the property and enjoy the sea, the pool, the scenery, in a private setting with a fully stocked kitchen and all appliances to make any meal you choose. With the wraparound deck, rooftop deck, and pool deck you can enjoy all the views. Especially loved the hammocks - on the deck and at the pool! Laying in the hammock in the evening staring up at the stars with the soft outdoor lighting was heaven. It is close enough to town to bike, walk or be picked up to enjoy the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Max picked us up at the ferry, took us to get groceries, and made sure we felt comfortable when we got there. He was always available when we asked or set up a time for ride into or from town. Max was friendly and helpful. We have stayed many places and this place had everything we loved about all of the other places wrapped into one. We were able to truly disconnect and enjoy this beautiful place.Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful house on the southern edge of Caye Caulker. Its location, close to the airport and away from the busier parts of town, made it a perfect retreat. Surrounded by lush jungle flora, we enjoyed the magical sight of fireflies every evening and breathtaking views of the night sky from the rooftop deck. Chila and Sheena, our hosts, were incredibly helpful and responsive, providing great suggestions for activities around town. When our children unfortunately fell ill, they went above and beyond, offering support and even checking if we needed anything. The house itself was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully equipped, including three bicycles that we used to explore the island, including the northern areas of the Caye. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and welcoming getaway.

We had a perfect stay at Wendy's place. Great location, amazing AC and little pools, and Netflix to cozy up with after a busy day on the beach! There was everything we needed to cook a few meals at home too. Wendy was super nice and helpful.
