The lower-living space is 1000+ sq ft in the lower level of our ranch house. It is very quiet and private. The front door is shared and is just 2 steps to the AirbNb entrance. We are 5 min off I-280 / I-74 near Augustana College, John Deere, Rock Island Arsenal, etc. Cozy apartment with kitchen w/dining, large private bathroom, family room w/dining area, couch/hide-a-bed and futon, large bedroom and a 2nd bedroom/workout room. Free parking in our driveway and high speed internet.

We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. Originally the first floor of a 1900 home for railroad workers in Marion, it is now a refurbished 2 bedroom apartment we call the Irish hill. A completely separate 1 bedroom apartment (also on Airbnb) is the top half of the house, and we call that the Uptown B! Check it out on our host profile. Irish hill guests will have access to a .25 acre yard (unfenced). Only blocks away from uptown Marion!
