Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Bayfield

We wanted to get away to enjoy the peace and quiet in nature for the weekend and we got just that. This home is cozy, clean, and serene. Before I even left, I sent the listing to a friend as a recommendation for bird watching and time in nature. We were even blessed by seeing a black bear less than thirty feet from the hot tub. He stopped to evaluate us while we evaluated him and then he went on his way. My fiancée and I invited a few friends along for this trip and they complimented and thanked me multiple times on my choice for this home and told me I get to choose next time as well. Erin is a wonderful host, she is very clear, accommodating, and responsive. You won’t regret this home if you choose to stay here.

The setting is beautiful and the cabin pristine. All amenities you need. The location is perfect for events in Hayward as it’s easy to get to and from. Brittney was an extraordinary host and communicator. She returns messages rapidly and was pleasant with every interaction. We hope to be back next year. Brothers, childhood friends and parents.

Had a great time connecting with the family. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Right on a lake which the older kids/young adults enjoyed during our winter visit.

This place is a little slice of heaven on earth. The white cabin has old school charm with an unbeatable view of the bay + a nice patio & firepit. The bonus to this stay was the absolute SIZE of the property. There's everything from a huge open field with an apple tree, to several private beaches, a peaceful quarry, a boat launch, and a trail leading along the shoreline with plenty of benches to rest along the way & take it all in. Pictures don't do this place justice; it's a "see it to believe it" experience.

We really enjoyed Paula's cottage. While small, we loved the authentic feel of a 100+ year old home. Paula did a really nice job updating without losing that authenticity. The location is great if you love enjoying the beauty that the north shore has to offer. We took advantage of the beach that is within walking distance as well as the many trails that are across the highway. Paula was a tremendous host, being quick to answer our questions and offer suggestions. We drove into Duluth multiple times, which is about 20 minutes away. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, uncluttered, quiet. Close enough to state parks AND to towns without being too busy with either. Deer visitors daily. Loon calls! Beautiful view of Lake Superior.

This was our second time staying here, and we absolutely LOVE Uncle Bob's Cabin! It's quiet, quaint, rustic, wonderful sunrise hews and sunset views this time of year...it's simple, and simply lovely. Our pups are a big fan of the green space and yard, local squirrels and deer roaming every morning...it's perfect for a getaway to spend time with family for the holiday. We will be back! Thank you!

Wonderful, peaceful cottage with access to a small private beach on Lake Superior. Great outdoors amenities including a charcoal grill and fire pit with wood provided.

We loved staying at Aimee and Thomas's cabin on the lake. It was a perfect spot to be at while attending a wedding in Minong. It's a beautiful place and the hosts were top notch! The view was fantastic and Aimee responded quickly to a few questions that we had. We hope to come back next year! Thank you!

Our stay was excellent. The Wi-Fi wasn't working but Aron communicated that prior to our arrival and it didn't impact our stay. The area is a spectacular place to spend your time. The kitchen is a bit small but had pretty much everything we needed. I would highly recommend and would stay there again.

Haven House is truly a gem on beautiful Madelaine Island. The most serene and peaceful getaway we’ve ever had. The spirit of the home is felt throughout, with amazing art and cool artifacts that obviously meant a lot to the owners. Although very private and surrounded by nature, the amenities in the home provide total modern comfort. Great WiFi and tv reception as well. This was a very memorable trip for us and we are already planning a return to this amazing island and home. Kimberly is so accommodating and wonderful, we recommend her home to anybody that would like to visit this beautiful island ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Spent a few days and wished it was longer! loves the view and bunnies on the hill each morning, the path was great for a stroll, the tub and shower AMAZING. Jenn also provided a pack an play for my baby. cozy house I'd definitely want to visit again. Thank you!

The place is close to town, easy parking, comfortable beds.

The hosts were responsive and accommodating. I was able to check in early and bring my pups! I had everything I needed for the dogs including an extra crate, bowls, beds, toys, and poop bags. Thanks again!

Jenna's place was the perfect weekend get-a-way! The location was unbeatable and the house was charming and serene. We loved the sauna and the hiking trails out back - we will definitely plan to return again! Jenna was a communicative and organized host - highly recommend!
