Fantastic stay with amazing views. Would have loved to have stayed for longer. Perfect place to explore Russell and the Bay of Islands. Loved all the extras ,( bottle of Prosecco , breakfast , coffee , milk etc )

Antje's place is a real gem. It is ideally located for exploring the Bay of Islands and is super comfortable. Antje is a wonderful host, with many local recommedations. We loved our stay and hope to be back. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect, just a few meters from the beach. We really enjoy the balcony and the spaciousness of the apartment. While it is starting to show its age and could benefit from some renovations soon, it is still in good living condition. The host couple is very friendly.

This property is divine, and we loved everything about it. It’s so thoughtfully curated and Murray and Pam have such a generosity of spirit which is reflected throughout the apartment. The bay views are to die for and the photos in the listing don’t accurately convey how gorgeous they are. We loved the location, privacy and amenities (and very much appreciated the breakfast supplies and snacks provided). We thoroughly recommend this property and would love to return ourselves.

We stayed in Swiss Chalet 7 and it was exactly as shown in the photos. It was spotlessly clean and very well set up for a comfortable 3 night stay. We had undercover parking. It is in a very quiet location and walkable to the wharf, and cafes and restaurants. It had views to the beautiful forest however not to the sea if you are after a sea view (it is a 3 minute walk to the esplanade!) It was a good spot to base ourselves for the beautiful Bay of Islands. BTW if you love seafood and great service we recommend jfc, Paihia, and Omota Vineyard had the best pizzas and views.

We stayed in Russel for almost a week with our two children (4 and 5 years) and we had a great time. The apartment is very spacious and clean and has everything you need. The location is perfect in the middle of Russel, and with the wharf and beach right around the corner. We fell in love with Russel!! It’s a very lovely and beautiful place. The host was helpful in her communication and everything went smoothly. The only downside with the apartment is that the terrass sometimes smells quite a lot from the fish- and chips place below (because the chimney is placed right next to the terrass). However - overall we loved our stay here and would highly recommend!!

This place is amazing. Despite the time of year and the set up, it was so cozy. Joanna was super responsive too. The amenities were simple but more than sufficient. I also had Fleur from The Sanctuary come and do a massage and facial in the accommodation which was just great. I hope I can come back some time in the near future! Thank you so much guys for an amazing break.

Absolutely loved staying at Sheenah's, the perfect spot for a solo dive weekend. This was a safe, cosy and gorgeous studio and I can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Angela's place. Views were amazing and the place was well laid with comfy beds and a functional kitchen. Be prepared for the walk up to the apartment as its quiet step and more that 50 steps. Otherwise well worth the stay.

We got in late and left early, so wasnt to phased about quality. It was cheap, warm and comfortable

Spacious and comfortable apartment. Bed is raised, requiring a climb up a short ladder. Not a problem for us. Great location, very peaceful but only a 20 minute walk from the centre of Russell.

What an amazing place!! Absolutely perfect location (the car stayed in the park all weekend); immaculately clean; lovely treats left for us and great pool. And incredible with check out. Loved our stay!

Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

Back home in Wellington but wish I was still at Paul and Nuttha's. Paul and Nuttha were great hosts and their place was amazing; gorgeous garden, good location and an immaculately presented place that was comfortable with all the trimmings. The beds were so comfy it was easy to drop off after a day of sightseeing. Excellent amenities (bathroom, kitchen, tea/coffee & breakfast stuff, parking, TV etc.). Paul and Nuttha are thoughtful hosts who were welcoming, accommodating and generous. Nuttha's cakes are the best and Paul's tips on what to see and do are saved us a lot of time. We were even able to pick persimmons to take home and Paul let us take cuttings from his garden! Will definitely book again if I'm up there again in the future. Thank you Paul and Nuttha for the lovely stay!

Truly excellent stay, Ian and Sue were lovely and the apartment so comfy and clean. We can’t wait to stay there again. Definitely do not miss the sunrise and the hidden beach!

Loved my stay here in the midst of a packed public holiday. Great to be close to the action but also peaceful. Apartment and checkin staff were helpful and great comms from the host. Will be back

Great place, fantastic views, and the hot tub was very useful for relaxing after a hard days touring. Andrew was very friendly and helped explain lots of things. Just be mindful of the 30 stairs up from the garage to the unit..... If it's available next time we visit we will be back.

Perfect spot to explore Bay of Islands area. Studio apartment with an amazing deck and hot tub. Had everything I needed for a weekend in Paihia. The drive way is very steep and a tricky turn getting up to the garage, but after you've done it once then it's easier. Would love to come back here if I'm in NZ again.
