In addition to the accommodation that met our expectations and the description of the listing, we also extremely appreciated the kindness and the relationship made easy by Jean Charles, both before arrival and during our stay. He knows how to be attentive to our needs while being non-intrusive. Despite the fact that our stay was quite short, he was able to create this friendly relationship by advising us, offering us visits, telling us the story of Guadeloupe and his own story, inviting us to his home for an aperitif and small touches. A real human discovery. In terms of accommodation, air-conditioned, ideally located, easy to park and visit the island, we particularly appreciated its electrical autonomy during the general power outage on the island. We recommend it and will not hesitate to return during another stay.

We stayed from March 30 to April 4, 2025. Our hosts were really friendly and welcoming and very accommodating. The pool is really very pleasant at the end of the day. The listing is as described and very clean. We highly recommend this accommodation also for the proximity of the boat to Les Saintes about 8 minutes by car and also for the whole Basse-Terre side. Very pleasant stay at Suzy's who was very attentive and very flexible with both our arrival and departure times. The house is in the middle of a lush garden where we were able to have breakfast among the hummingbirds. Our 18-month-old daughter also loved the chickens who came to greet us every morning and felt very comfortable in the accommodation that Suzy equipped for babies. Suzy and her companion had good advice, we recommend it without a second thought!

There is no rating for this listing, because it will stay in my memories forever. We stayed in the hut, and despite the health center being a little far away, the atmosphere really charmed us. It was magical, surrounded by nature, this place is the most beautiful antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life. I loved it! A huge thank you to the owners: it is thanks to them that these rare homes still exist.

To return to the small canal, go through Kerry and his house. You'll have all of northern Guadeloupe at your fingertips! We had all the joys of Guadeloupe in a quiet area, a small place of calm, secure and very very well planted. Thank you for this moment away from the activity of a big city or a vacation club.
