Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Elizabeth was absolutely fantastic with communication before and during our stay. The barn is so perfectly decorated and romantic! Beautiful gardens to walk around to go and see the farm animals, and a gorgeous coffee shop on site. Parking and check-in was super easy! Karen and Chris sent clear instructions beforehand about check in and how to find the location, which was really helpful. The local area is lovely and we enjoyed a day out in Cardiff, which is only a 30 mins drive away. This place is a brilliant find and we highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing time away.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Tim’s place. The house is beautifully designed with a Scandinavian concept that feels both simple and sophisticated. The backyard is lovely, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The bathroom was spotless, the kitchen fully equipped, and the bedroom cozy and comfortable. Our favorite spot was the living room—it was so inviting and stylish. Tim was also very helpful and informative, providing a video guide that made finding the property super easy. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay—excellent value for money!
