Apartment vacation rentals in Bakewell

Lovely property- just what we needed and a great shower! Parking was ok - not sure if climbers were also using the parking or if they were residents who climbed, but we were relieved to find a space. Also the pizza place is restaurant only on Friday and Saturday.. so as we brought our dog, we were glad to have brought supplies ;) Definitely would recommend.. thank you

This was a perfect place for myself and a friend while we were working at Chatsworth for a weekend event. It was clean, neat and tidy, and had a lovely view too. Only thing I would say, the stairs to the second bedroom (which can be seen in the photos) are quite tricky to navigate! So will not be suitable for everyone.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and cosy. Really liked the eclectic mix of furniture etc - some nice little touches. Nice easy stroll into Bakewell alongside a little brook if you don't want to walk along the road. Turn right at the entrance walk a few metres, then right again between the bollards which takes you to the back of the houses towards the brook.

Great place to stay. The location is right in the heart of beautiful Buxton. The studio was well appointed and very clean. I loved the linen on the bed and how comfy it was. There was some late night noise from surrounding bars ie people leaving but that was easily solved with headphones. We would definitely stay again. Lyn is an excellent host who is kind and understanding.

Can’t fault this place, immaculate, great peaceful location on the Monsal trail which is a nice walk away from Bakewell. Will definitely be staying here again on our next visit.

A really great location, within easy walking distance to Chatsworth House. The flat was well equipped and nicely decorated- a good base to explore from.

Wow wow wow! What an amazing place to stay. Beautifully historic but with a modern touch to it and so spacious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to family/friends. Jane was a very helpful host with offering recommendations on places to eat nearby too. Would really recommend The Swan Inn. The only downside is the 10am check out policy (we felt this was quite early).

Worked for us very well. Ideally located, very close to the railway station and the two main bus stop locations, and almost right on the route of the Derwent Valley Heritage Way. Couldn't really be more convenient for walking or for the local industrial history. Also very close to at least two decent-sized supermarkets, and multiple restaurants and cafes. The kitchen seemed excellently equipped, but we never had cause to use it. Comfy lounge chairs much appreciated after a day's walking! The apartment does overlook a fairly busy road, with some pubs, &c., so there was some noise, especially on Friday and Saturday evening – didn't seem excessive to us, but not the place if you want perfect countryside quiet. Also the two flights of stairs up are really quite steep.

Great location, Buxton is a wonderful place full of charm. The apartment was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. Loved the bedroom space and the kitchen was modern and had everything we needed. The hosts communication made it easy to find, easy to check in!

Well, what an amazing apartment, it most definitely did not disappoint! Located within the heart of central Manchester City, great restaurants and shopping outlets , all in walking distance. It’s exactly what it says on the tin. The amenities in the apartment were outstanding with great fixtures. The host was very helpful and responded speedily to my queries. I’ll definitely patronise him again

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Dance Studio, and Milen was an excellent host. The rooms were spotless, tidy, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. One thing to note: access to the flat requires climbing a flight of stairs, which might be something to consider if you’re carrying heavy luggage. Fortunately, we only had carry-ons, so it was easy to manage. The property felt very secure, and Milen was incredibly responsive throughout our stay. We were especially grateful that he kindly offered to store our luggage after check-out, as we had a late train and wanted to explore the town a bit longer. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re planning to visit Chatsworth House or explore nearby areas, as the flat is just a 10-minute walk from the station.

The elevator was broken, I had to carry my bags to the first floor.

We had a great stay- very easy to check in and lots of places locally to eat. We particularly liked the lovely plush carpet- a very cozy stay

So nice, I stayed here twice. Lesley is the loveliest host and I can't sing her praises enough. What an absolute angel. Really looking forward to my next visit! Thanks for everything. Hoping to be back in the near future.

Combine a peaceful location, a spacious and well-equipped flat, a responsive host all at a good price and you have Tony's highly-recommended flat. Don't bother looking at other places, you won't find better.

Thanks to the landlord‘s assistance, he gave us a good impression when we first came to Manchester to settle down. He answered many of my questions and responded to my questions quickly. The room is tenths large, the room is very warm, and it is very convenient to go to the supermarket, and it is only a 30-minute walk to the city centre.

Location was spot on, right in the city centre! We travelled up for the Manchester Marathon 25 and it was spot on. Would highly recommend, the hosts were great

Really enjoyed our stay here. Location and building wasn’t what we expected but still felt nice and private once inside. Room looks exactly like the pics. The hosts were really attentive and got back to me very quickly with any questions I had. Definitely recommend here for someone to stay the night.

Exactly as described. The flat was very comfortable and clean and we have a great stay. They hot tub was a highlight but it did get dirty towards the end of our stay, probably because everyone in the building was using it, it it didn’t bother us at all. We would 100% stay there again, great value for money in a great location.

Had an amazing few nights at the Heathcote Hideaway. We’ve stayed in some beautiful places before but nothing comes close to here ! The cottage was absolutely pristine, had everything you could ever need, with some lovely home touches. Such peaceful surroundings and a stunning view from the hot tub. Thank-you for our stay, we hope to return !

Fantastic place! Private, has absolutely everything you could need in the place. We stayed in the snug and had an amazing time. Private little courtyard with hot tub and bbq which was great! The place itself was pristine, clean, fresh and just lovely. We contacted the host a couple of times and responses were really fast and helpful. The park and grounds were lovely also for us adults and for the children. Added bonus we weren’t expecting was an invitation for the children to help feed the animals, we took this opportunity and it was fab! The farmer was so engaging with the children and they got to feed many animals and interact with them as well as egg collecting, so cute and just a really lovely thing to do! Thankyou! We absolutely will be recommending to all family and friends and we will be sure to return ourselves, we wished we had booked longer!
