Cosy home. Fabulously deep bath. Compact fenced in safe garden for our spaniel. Small double bed but comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

The cottage was lovely & Rod & Helen were the perfect hosts, very friendly & gave us lots of information about the area. We had a lovely weekend, just wished we could have stayed longer!

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful cottage, felt so at home. The garden in particular was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was so clean and well equiped. The location is beautiful but do have to drive to a few things. We did the Curbar walk which is walkable from the cottage and is a lovely walk. We drove to Kinder Scout, Roaches, Luds Church, Hen Cloud and Millers Dale. Our dog loved the cottage, thank you so much we will ne back again 😊

Pigeon Loft Cottage was just as described, a very cute and cosy home away from home. The cottage was very easy to find following Susie’s directions and there is ample parking at the property as well as around the area. The check in was delayed by an hour or so due to us booking an extra night but Susie was extremely apologetic and did her best to get the cottage ready as quick as she could and allowed us to leave our shopping in the fridge during. Although she was trying to get it ready quickly, the cottage was still very clean and tidy when we did check in. The rest of the trip was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay :)

We had such a lovely stay here, the place was private, well presented, neat and tidy. It had everything we needed and was a comfortable home away from home. The little town was also very nice and a short walk to a small village shop and pub. Alison was very friendly and welcoming. Would defnitely stay again if we come back to England.

I can’t rate this Air BbB high enough. It was better than the pictures, immaculate, the master bed was so comfortable I want to find the mattress 😁 Jackie has thought of absolutely everything you could need, the amazing welcome basket was very well received. Three great pubs right on the door step, we one ate at one (The Farmyard Inn - great service and food) as the other had recently changed hands so wasn’t serving food as yet. The cafe right next door was also great, as a Kiwi I really enjoyed their coffee. Great walks right on the door step and just a gorgeous little village. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic place the Bobbin is! Massive thank you to Debs and Simon. The communication was spot on and really helpful, with some great recommendations. We stayed with my parents and all had a great time. The cottage has everything you need. The kitchen was well equipped, the lounge was a great place to relax and the beds/pillows were really comfy. It was so peaceful. The Bulls Head is a great pub and The Ashford Arms is outstanding, especially for food. I must also mention the Ginger Butchers in Bakewell, which is brilliant!

A beautiful loft apartment located in the centre of Bollington. spotlessly clean, welcoming and warm. The host Nick was very helpful & available and willing to offer advice on the local area. The beds were so comfy and cozy with high quality bed linen. we would highly recommend the loft to anyone wanting to explore the Cheshire countryside.

Had an amazing few days walking around all the peaks, with this beautiful place to come back to in the evenings and play some cards and go to the recommended pubs. Really friendly host with lots of good recommendations. Will defo be visiting again! Thank you for a great trip.

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Such a lovely room. I really appreciated the extra touches - some canned drinks and milk in the fridge, some muesli for breakfast, provided shampoo and shower gel. It's a straightforward walk down to the bus stop to get into town. It's also only about £7 Uber to town and the train station (off peak). Any messages or questions were always answered quickly by the lovely Rosie.

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. Second time we stayed here so we felt very at home. Very peaceful but close enough to walk to town where there are plenty bars and restaurants. Private parking. Some nice treats as well.

She communicated all the way from the moment of our booking to the end of our stay. Location is perfect, snuck away from Dronfield Town, but close enough to walk to the many signposted country walks and local pubs/eateries. Short drive, train or bus to Chesterfield and easy commute to Sheffield. Lots of walkable trains and buses. Easy drive (and public transport available too) to the many scenic attractions in Derbyshire. Walkable Convenience Store and gas station is just a minute away.

Had the most wonderful stay in this little oasis. The space was beautiful with lots of colour and character, along with a file of thoughtfully written guide of everything you'll need to know. Lisa was also very accommodating and super responsive throughout, especially over check in/out days. We stayed only for the weekend but could imagine this place being a great option for longer term stay as well. The neighbourhood in general is gorgeous and quiet, very close to Brocco Park which is a beautiful walk and relatively well connected to public transport. We chose to walk mostly and took around 30minutes on average to get to most of where we want to go. Highly recommend!

Karl was a superb host and the apartment was 10/10. Karl met us on arrival and showed a genuine, warm care for our visit. The apartment was lovely and homely, with lots of vintage items, with great access to Buxton’s sights and walks.

We only stayed for two nights for a quick fly through visit, but we were really impressed with the flat. It was clean, tidy and comfy. We loved all the little details Sarah added in, so many recommendations on things to do and she even left us milk and biscuits for when we arrived. Really wonderful spot, great value for money, will be booking again.

A fantastic place to stay. It is as described and shown in the photos. We immediately felt at home on arrival and was very comfortable throughout our stay. Amanda was friendly and helpful from booking to departure. The pre arrival information is some of the best we have received. The area is remote, quiet and exactly what we wanted for a quiet weekend away. We loved seeing and meeting some of the farm animals. Definitely somewhere we want to return to if we are travelling in the area.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

Had an amazing stay here! The apartment is even better in person – super spacious, full of character, and really well put together. Loved all the little touches that made it feel cosy and luxurious at the same time. Location was perfect for exploring the Peak District, and Wirksworth itself is a lovely little town. Great communication from the host too – everything was really smooth. Would definitely stay again!

the apartment had everything we needed, plenty of books for recommendations of what to do, only a stones throw away from the centre of Buxton. They have put their heart and soul into the referb and it shows and they've done it so well while maintaining the character of the building. Thank you again and I'm sure we'll be back!!

Excellent location with the railway station and a Toby carvery only a 15 minute walk away from Middlewood. The property was clean, comfortable and was in a private, peaceful location. There was plenty of space for storing your clothes in a wardrobe and drawers, plus a good amount of coat hooks on the doors too. Lou the host made us feel very welcome shortly after arrival and said just let us know if you need anything else. We had a few goodies left for us on arrival which is a lovely gesture.
