Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bacton

Had a wonderful time. When we arrived for our Christmas break the Christmas lights and Christmas tree were twinkling a welcome. There was also Christmas music playing thru the tv. Made us feel very festive! We had an issue with the ovens and Emma was quick visit and to sort it out.

We had a great stay in Holt over New Year’s with friends & children. The house was spotless and brilliantly decked out with plenty of space for everyone. Great location for walking into Holt and easy to reach all the excellent Norfolk beaches. I’m sure we’ll be back!

The cottage is in a quiet location, with extensive views from the dining-room over fields. The house is spotlessly clean, excellently equipped and extremely comfortable. The house is even more spacious than the photographs suggest, and it made a superb base from which we explored north Norfolk. There is a lot to do near by as well as some great restaurants. Within walking distance is a good Thai restaurant (the Crawfish Inn), and at Letheringsett, just a mile west of Holt, is the excellent King's Head pub, where the food is top notch. We would strongly recommend Julia's fabulous cottage. Thank you, Julia, for making our stay so comfortable.

We had such a beautiful Christmas break at Rock Road. We had everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner, the house had been wonderfully decorated by Helen which was really appreciated. The general interior of the house is beautifully done and absolutely spotless. Linen and towels were soft & fluffy. Some lovely little touches! Walking distance to Oulton Broad which was a nice area. Quiet, friendly neighbours and a handy local shop a few steps away! We'd definitely recommend staying here, one of the top AirBnBs we've visited. Things to note - there's a little courtyard garden off the backdoor which is very enclosed and dog friendly, and another separate bigger garden reached by going through the gate, this is also enclosed and dog friendly and I can imagine a beautiful space in the summer. The stairs in the house are steep as mentioned, and also the steps themselves are quite narrow so may be a little risky for elderly or toddlers, but we managed well as a couple with a baby.l

This is the second time we've stayed at The Pretty Fox, and we loved it--again! It's a very cosy house that has many historic features, and Wanda and Tom make you feel completely "at home." It's also a perfect place for walking into Diss, which is a great little town. We highly recommend this home.

Property is a mixture of architectural and decorative styles with an interesting, quirky character. Good heating and overall facilities with well-equipped kitchen. Only downside with the kitchen was that the oven hadn’t been completely cleaned of grease after previous residents. There are two en-suite bathrooms but no downstairs toilet, so the 3rd bedroom guest will have to use one of the en-suites. Towels and bedding were clean and comfortable. Christmas trees were a nice, seasonal touch. There is a general stores and good cafe just 20m away and an excellent pub/restaurant around the corner. Parking is on-street but not difficult to find a space nearby. There are good walks around the minor roads, farmland and village common nearby. The castle can be accessed with a key obtainable from the stores. We enjoyed our stay.

Just returned from a 4 night New Year break with my family (2 adults and 4 children). We had a very enjoyable time. The location of the property was fantastic, very central and everything in 5/10 min walking distance. The property itself was spot on, plenty of space, very clean, well-equipped kitchen and it was lovely that the Xmas decorations were still up! Kathryn was very easy to communicate with prior to our arrival. She also made us aware of a few minor problems beforehand that really didn’t impact us at all but it was great to have that info upfront. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we definitely would stay here again when visiting Cromer.

I have stayed at Ben's B&B in the village of North Elmham before. I keep returning for more. The accommodation is beautifully styled and much thought goes into the details to make the stay of guests more enjoyable. One of many highlights for me is the wonderful breakfasts prepared by Heather, Helen and Ben. I highly recommend this Norfolk gem.

What a fantastic location. We hope to return. And we loved the place, the kitchen is really nice (bigger than it looks on the photos) and everything about the flat was lovely. You won't find a better located place to stay in Cromer if you want a one bedroomed flat. I can't wait until we return (as we surely will). A lovely October weekend.

Just got back from a lovely stay over New Year. We loved how they’d put some Christmas decorations inside and the accommodation was lovely with everything we needed. There were even a few treats on arrival which was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay here again.

Angie's place is a brilliantly located, comfy and cosy apartment literally steps from the centre of Sheringham but without any of the noise you get with town centre living. For "cosy" there's no need to read "small" - the living spaces were a really good size, as were the two bedrooms. Having off road parking right outside the gate was also a huge plus. Angie was very responsive and dealt with a minor issue really quickly. All in all, a great stay in our favourite place in Norfolk.

Great experience, we loved our stay. there are 5 bell tents and a couple of lodges within walking distance of each other. Each site is far enough away from each other to feel private but also close enough to have a bit of a community feel to it. The communal kitchen is more than equipped, we brought far too much with us "just in case"! Lewis was often around if needed and was very responsive with any queries. We would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

What a lovely find, homely cosy and well equipped flat, everything you need to hand. We really enjoyed our stay so, what a lovely way to start the new year. Ali was great communication was prompt . Thank you would recommend to friends and family hopefully to return.

Wonderful weekend base for sons couple of football games that happened to be in the same area. Incredibly responsive host, and probably the most immaculately clean airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Board games and card games were played and the dvds in the kids bedroom were watched. A wonderful couple of family nights spent away. Highly, highly recommended.

Amazing accommodation so close to the beach and absolutely loved the log burner in the evenings!!!

A lovely stay, in a lovely house. Perfectly situated for being right in the middle of town, which our boys loved as the weather wasn’t great this time.. so the amusements got a fair few visits. Lovely kitchen and great for the extended family we had come with us. Christian was so accommodating with us having a young son with diabetes and travelling with insulin. Lovely welcome pack too, which was much appreciated. Thank you !

We were a large family of 8, 2 children, 1 baby and 3 doggos. Celebrating a 30th birthday! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Arrived to a surprise of a hamper with lots of goodies, thank you very much! The place was amazing , loved the pool and hot tub and all information provided was helpful. The land around the property was perfect. Everybody loved it especially our dogs. Communication was great throughout , even before we paid for the accommodation and had questions. Huge space, exactly what we were after. Plenty of games provided and kids toys were. A perfect touch. We really loved staying. Thank you very much!!

Our stay at this beautiful house made sure Christmas 2024 was wonderful! Three generations were so very comfortable, the house has everything you need and so much more! The grandson's adored the warm pool and the space the house provided. The adults loved the home from home feel, the top quality appliances in the kitchen used for Christmas lunch, the amazing facilities, the short walk round the corner to the lovely beach and the nearby pub where everyone was so welcoming! Couldn't have wished for a better stay.

The house was amazing exactly as described, the kitchen area was fantastic, and the hot tub with the games room is superb.Stef responded amazingly, would fully recommend the house and its peaceful location.
