The accommodation is pleasant, spacious and safe, Juan Carlos and his mother were very kind, they allowed us to enter before time since we were very tired of the flight, they gave us several recommendations, nearby there are several places to eat at any time, commercial squares in case it takes something and to go to the malecón in 10 minutes by car, to leave for Bacalar and Belize, it is very quick from that point.

The accommodation is perfect, it has two rooms with its full bathroom each, it has a main kitchen that is next to the living room and dining room, although it also has another smaller kitchenette in the second room, that was very useful since we were two separate couples and each one was able to make their meals without interrupting the preparation of the other. There is a pool in the facilities that is very nice and always clean. The apartment is modern, the towels and the covers are very clean. Another plus is that it has parking inside the premises and the entrances have a fence, which makes it feel more safe and comfortable. The center of Bacalar, is about 5-7 minutes walking, so it is very close. A thank you to Eli, who was always attentive to our stay, was always very kind and with a great disposition.

Everything is very good and Marco is very attentive; in my little experience using Airbnb it is the first time a host has directly attended the check-in and it's pending that everything is in order, I thought that was excellent.

The place was exact as we imagined, the unpaved entrance road, but it's normal for a private place and by the lagoon. Verónica received us super friendly, we checked in very late at night and she was attentive and explained everything in detail. The place is very clean, the towels super clean, the beds too. As a note: They need an oversize or bedspread on top of the bed sheet, but other than that, everything is fine. It's a rustic place and I really liked that I didn't have a TV to appreciate the beauty of the area. I work remotely and the wifi worked perfect at all times. Victor (the host) is super helpful at all times and with a very quick response to any questions. Recommended if you go as a couple without children and you are looking for something very simple as you think you are out exploring the area.

The best location right on Avenida 1 right next to the Laguna beach and 10 min walk downtown. The space had all listed amenities, spacious, comfortable, clean. Hosts were great, kind and responsive. There are other guest houses in the same property above you and around, so expect to see others by your windows and in the area and hear a tiny bit of noise, although it was not a problem or bother for us and there are nice curtains on all of the many nice big windows. We recommend this place and would gladly stay here again.
