Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Avila Beach

Charles place was beautiful and in a very scenic location. We saw cows grazing on the hillside, turkeys walking along the road, and even saw a baby deer wandering nearby. There were lots of amenities and clear instructions on everything from getting to the place to using the fireplace. One thing I would have liked to be warned about was the bumpy road to get to the house, it can be pretty scary especially whilst driving at night. But other than that our stay was perfect. I would stay here again.

This AirBNB is not lying when they say it has great ocean views-- we were blown away by the clear views of the ocean from every room. It's a quick stroll to a small park that has ocean access, and a 5-10 minute drive from town and Moonstone beach. Very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing!

Perfect spot for my sisters (with spouses) getaway. House was spacious and immaculate. The little touches were thoughtful like a night light in bathroom and all the kitchen utensils and supplies we needed for a pasta dinner. Owners were super nice and communicated promptly. Not far from town and shopping. Definitely recommend!

Having recently spent this weekend my wife and I are looking forward to a return trip. As expected the weather was overcast, windy and cool. Needless to say we spent a good deal of our time inside, relaxing and enjoying the warmth that this cozy hideaway has to offer. As advertised Surf n Vine is plenty spacious, extremely well equipped and the overall layout is awesome. My wife was very pleased with all that this home has to offer. This visit we brought our frenchie. For the next stay we hope to bring our grandchildren as well to enjoy an active summer vacation. As my wife stated the kitchen layout and lots of barstool seating lends itself to some awesome family time, prepping and enjoying meals. Morro Rock views from the deck, barbecuing fresh steaks and enjoying the cool, coastal weather is how we enjoyed our 45th wedding anniversary. Really looking forward to our next stay. We came to SLO for a family visit and this house was perfect. It has large, open shared space that was perfect for our group of four to gather. The living room fireplace was a nice touch on cool mornings. I can't stress enough how immaculately clean this house was! Tony and Patricia are wonderful, responsive hosts. We will stay here again in the future!

We stayed two nights at Linda's house my family of 4 after a busy spring break and we felt like home. The house was very spacious, with different areas to stay, relax and play. The kids enjoyed the game room, the sofas were very comfortable to watch TV. The other living room was used by my daughter to read. The beds were really comfortable and the house is in a very peaceful area. The house was also very close to Sensorio and the Brewery we visited. It was the perfect end to a great Spring Break. I would definitely recommend this house to anybody visiting Paso Robles area.

Great location and grounds. Clean and bright. Washer and dryer and dishwasher all work great. Plenty of supplies like soap and TP. Cooper was great and really helpful. There weren't coffee filters but the Vons is close. (The Vons was out of basket coffee filters so prolly helps to bring some and also bring some plastic utensils) Not quite enough hand towels for fastidious types but paper towels were available and it was great to have 2 1/2 baths. I usually bring my own pillow but didn't this trip and the pillows are quite tall and firm so it was not comfortable for me. Nice to have closet space and drawer space. Really a nice place. Heater works swell. Fridge is spacious. Turns out a relative lives down the street so I can honestly say there are great neighbors. There is a wonderful park with a great playground five minutes away. Check-in and out was easy and fast. The outdoor space is wonderful. Really close to a perfect stay.

WOW!!! Even better than the photos. The view of the bay and Morro rock were way more prevalent than even the photos led on. Everything was clean and perfect. Thank you!

I have been using Airbnb since 2011. This is one of the best. The unit hit all the right notes. Comfortable and everything that you need but the prize for me was the care that was put into the garden that is just for this unit and live plants in the unit. I don’t think I have ever seen that. Out in the country but close to everything. Perfect.

Lori’s home was the perfect getaway place for my wife and I. A newer home situated on private and quiet winery. The home had everything we needed and more from basic toiletries to coffee and snacks. We look forward to coming back and staying here later this summer.

This was our second time staying at this location, and it was just as wonderful as our first stay! Steps from the beach and walking distance to everything else. Has its own dedicated parking space which is a huge plus, especially when Pismo is busy. Would recommend this spot to any couples looking for a replacing beach weekend.

Everything was great! The pictures didn't do it justice. We had everything we needed to feel at home while being prepared for a wedding weekend. Timothy was very communicative when we needed something. There were a lot of nice little touches and plenty of necessities. We recommend this space!

We had a great time at Leanne’s place. The house was clean, organized, and set up with everything we needed. Leanne was great. We booked about 3 months prior to our stay and requested early check in as we had to be somewhere by 5. She was very responsive, followed up with me a few days before our stay as she said she would and again the day we arrived to let us know as soon as the house was ready. This was excellent service and I know she truly cares about her guests stay. Thank you Leanne for everything and we can’t wait to come back!

I had the best experience staying here! Everything was so intentional and thoughtfully curated — from the cozy and convenient touches to the incredibly clean space. The ocean views are even better in person and the garden is the perfect place for a zen moment. Ali and Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, welcomed, and supported throughout my stay. Their recommendations were so perfect, it's like I had a concierge or travel agent planning my stay for me! You can truly feel the care that went into every detail. I can't recommend this place or host highly enough — absolutely exceptional in every way!

This is a unique house with a gorgeous view. The house is located on a private road about half way between the coast and Paso Robles, which was perfect for our itinerary of visiting Hearst Castle and Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. Gil was very helpful when we arrived showing us the features of his beautiful house.

We really enjoyed our family reunion at this large home. Plenty of space and a large living room to hang out. Complimentary wine tasting next door was a nice bonus.

This is my second time at this Airbnb with this group of ladies. We had a total blast both times. Totally peaceful, serene, gorgeous. We love it here. The drive up once you get to the neighborhood is hilariously scary (there’s a small dirt road up a hill) but it was just fine. VERY good vibes here!! And Courtney was great!

My family stayed at Peters home over Easter weekend and we all had a wonderful time. We enjoyed cooking easter dinner in the gorgeous kitchen (everything we could needs was there!) The grandkids had so much fun finding easter eggs and swimming in the pool (which was the perfect temperature) . I highly recommend Peters home, he was in constant communication and so easy to work with. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great home and host! Perfect for family with easy access to nearby towns, shopping, restaurants and beach. Communication was excellent and loved having a pool to relax by during our stay. We will definitely book here again.

This was a beautiful villa that was so tastefully decorated. The location at the winery was fantastic with beautiful views of the rolling hillsides. The space was even better than expected with high ceilings and an amazing kitchen area. The master bedroom was spacious and the other 2 bedrooms were also good sized. Our fellow travelers were in love with the villa and the surroundings and kept praising it throughout the stay. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Federico’s place was just the right accommodation to fit our family’s needs and it matched the listed description accurately. The only thing I was a little taken aback initially was how secluded this place was from downtown but once we made several trips in and out of the place, the drive was not so bad and it was actually nice to come home to a quiet neighborhood and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. One thing I find very important when sleeping away from home is the quality of the bed/mattress and I was happy that his beds were all very comfortable. Federico is super friendly and he’s really there for you if you ever need anything.
