Hjellebua - Stamsund, in the heart of Lofoten

Cozy and modern cabin by the sea in the fishing village Stamsund. Many hiking opportunities, resorts and light trails in the immediate vicinity. Two grocery stores within walking distance, one of which is Sunday, as well as a gas station. In Stamsund you will find cozy cafes, yoga centers and several art galleries. Stamsund is located right in the middle of Lofoten. Leknes is 10-15 minutes away. An hour's drive north is Svolvær, and an hour and a half south is Reine/Moskenes. Short distance to the popular beaches of Haukland, Uttakleiv and Unstad.

It is located at the end of the road and therefore there is no car traffic past the cabin! Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the view, with sun from morning to evening🌞 Good opportunities to go hiking nearby, or try your luck fishing. Kort vei til tettsted som Kabelvåg og Svolvær. En kort kjøretur til Henningsvær og Gimsøy. Fantastisk område for turer både for ung og gammel. Flott badestrand på Kalle og Rørvik. Turområde i gangavstand. Silsand (strand) og gapahuk. Gapahuken ligger mellom Ørsnes og Hopen. Her er det bålpanne.

Welcome to our charming cottage, built in classic Lofoten style, inspired by the traditional wooden houses in Northern Norway. Here you get a perfect combination of rustic coastal charm and modern comfort – ideal as a base for nature experiences, family fun or just total relaxation in beautiful surroundings. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and plenty of room for 6 adults. In addition, there is a travel bed for small children and a sofa bed that is suitable for children or teenagers.

Our cosy countryside cabin is for rent. The cabin lays in a farmyard with great view over lovely farmland and lake. It is a perfect base for leisure activities such as bicycling, sea kayaking, hiking and fishing or to just relax and play in the garden. In wintertime (from September) you will have the opportunity to spectacular views of the northern light just outside the cabin. In the barn there are both pool and ping-pong at your disposal.

One of the very few original fishermen's cabins still around. It is more than 150 years old, but has been re-done and is in very good condition. The timber walls offers genuine ambience, yet the cabin also offers conveniences such as a sauna, bathroom and modern kitchen. The rorbu is most suitable for a couple or a family with 2 children.
