Vacation rentals in Austria

Neatly quiet and and beautiful this homeowner lived just across the street in the farmhouse. we have also been to the owner's cows for a while and enjoyed the milk you can buy at the farm every morning. Everything as one wishes was a great week without stress

The place was great. Although we paid the full price despite one person less, but since the place was really big and otherwise great, that's fine. Location was also great. We found enough opportunities to take our animal companion for walks. For the children, there were things to paint and play with. Kitchen was super equipped and clean. The nice welcome sign was also handwritten and made us smile. Victoria was very nice and always responded quickly :-)

We had great time. Everything was perfect and well arranged. Definitely recommend and we will repeat the visit again.

The Apartment was super!! I cannot find any words to describe better all the confort and the wonderful garden. Also the Mountain View is amaizing! A special thanks to Manuela and her husband Gunther, always keen to help and so welcoming!! We will come surely for another fantastic and relaxing holiday!!

We had a great stay at this place. It’s cozy, has enough room for a family and is really close to the ski-resort. Just the perfect home for a family skiing vacation.

Once again, we spent a few quiet days in the Waldviertel. Unfortunately, the weather was very rainy. But it was all the more cozy in the house. And the poodle liked the large garden despite bad weather.

Very nice apartment with large balcony to the courtyard, well equipped kitchen with everything you need, comfortable beds, very attentive and friendly host. Overall, highly recommended!

Everything was perfect!

We had an awesome week on the slopes! The apartment was really nice, check-in was easy and we had no problems at all. Only thing that was surprising was that since the apartment was for up to 9 people, we expected 3 rooms, but there were only 2 rooms with 3 beeds (1 double, 1 single) and one couch. But overall great place - would recommend!

Hans's place is a very nice apartment! For our family it was perfect! My opinion is that it is more beautiful and welcoming than in the photos! We were impressed how he prepared special linens for our little boy, blue towel and dishes for the children. In addition, at check-in our children found a small but sweet in their bedroom.

Karl was a wonderful, welcoming, and attentive host! The property was perfect with everything we could need, in a wonderful town with easy access to groceries, restaurants, and the wonderful Mondsee lake. We very much look forward to staying here again!

This apartment is beautiful and even nicer than the pictures! The view out the window in the main room is like a painting! It was well stocked and very comfortable and spacious for our family. Very easy to walk to all the popular sights but in a quiet, gorgeous neighborhood. Wonderful place to stay!

I booked this for my daughter and this is her review: “ I had a wonderful time in Vienna and part of the reason is Barbara, a most excellent host and wonderful person. She is considerate, helpful, kind, and always available. Her place is peaceful, quiet, restful, warm, clean and cozy. I had everything I needed for my monthly stay! It is very central, ( the beautiful 6th district!) and I could walk to all my favorite places. Transportation is very close by. The neighborhood is safe and pleasant. Very easy to get to from the airport by bus! Sad to leave…looking forward to being back. Thank you Barbara!

This home fulfilled our Christmas holiday expectations. The home is full of character and we really appreciate the history. What an experience for our children to stay in a home that is older than our country. The kitchen is well stocked, out in the quiet country about an hour west from Vienna. The hosts were warm, friendly and responsive. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We (parents with two children) stayed with Lisa in February 2025 and felt very comfortable. The beautiful place looks more spacious and bigger in reality than it looks in the pictures and is very tasteful and cozy. Thanks for the friendly hospitality, including cow-milk lessons 😁

We loved staying in Göstling An der Ybbs, everything was perfect. We were there for a skiing break and both Hochkar and Otscher are only 20 minutes drive away. Both these resorts are family friendly and not too big, which is what we like with kids. The house is really clean and well kept with all the amenities we required, including a PlayStation 3 that the kids loved playing on (please don’t remove that!). The centre of Gostling is a good 20 minute walk but it is a nice walk to do. Also it has the schwimmbad which is brilliant if you want to treat yourself to some top spa facilities, or give the kids a swim (this place is amazing). All in all we loved our stay here and couldn’t fault it, from check in to check out it was faultless. Thank you.

Everything was excellent, I rented the place to receive my parents who were visiting and it is beautiful, it fulfills everything it promises, clean and spacious, the area is quiet and the lake is very close and the supermarket is a couple of streets away. Considering its location, excellent price/benefit. The only detail was that it is necessary to pay a tourist tax of €2.70 per night per adult, although we understand that this is the case in most places, I think it would be better to include it in the price of the room or at least announce it in the description of the place, to keep it in mind in the expenses that must be made in euros since, in our case, my parents, when coming from Mexico, cash available in euros is not so easy. However, the place is beautiful and we will keep it in mind for your next visits. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic! We couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough. It is extremely spacious, very clean and in a great location for restaurants/groceries etc. The bedrooms are beautiful with lots of room and the Airbnb is light and open plan. The property is equipped with everything you can require, from a highchair and changing mat for a child to nespresso coffee and additional toilet roll! We loved playing the football table in the evenings. We used the properly whilst we were skiing in the SkiWelt area which wasn’t a far drive to the slopes - PERFECT!

The apartment is perfect! Very comfortable, clean with an amazing view. We had a great holiday there!
