Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Austria

Chalet Rosenstein is in a very serene and scenic location. The interior including the beds was cozy and comfortable. The playground was a nice addition for our grandchildren. It was one of the nicest Airbnb s we have stayed in. Highly recommend it.

Everything is really right here, we felt incredibly comfortable. The house has a perfect, secluded location surrounded by forest and meadow, it has everything you could need. In addition, Christine is a super host who can give all sorts of tips and is available. We hopefully will be back!

We, with three couples, had a wonderful time in the house. It is a beautiful house with plenty of space both inside and outside. Also that you could retreat for a while if you felt like it. The location of the house is also great. Could immediately go for a nice walk (were there in June) and close to beautiful pictures or sights. Super friendly owners too. A small tip. Cleaning could really be better. Lamps thick layer of dust. The windows were very dirty. Cutlery and crockery were not always clean. Small things, but that was unfortunate. And the cupboards may be a little less full,😊 but the latter is personal But most importantly, it's an amazing house!! Recommended

The two nights following our Italian holiday brought an incredible amount of peace and quiet. An absolutely relaxed, helpful and super nice host who was able to take care of a lot of our worries and we could just enjoy ourselves, even the dog relaxed, like never before in a foreign environment :) clearly - we will be back! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the short but relaxing break!

The house of Anita and Mathias is very beautiful, we had the fire lit and it gave a very cozy and homely atmosphere. The house is very well remodeled, the bathroom and kitchen are almost new and everything you need for a short stay. Also the surrounding is very nice and quiet, full of green and nature, we did many activities every day like; walking, going to the wildpark, spa, etc. They provided us with a very useful pdf with lots of tips for things to see and do in the surrounding area. Anita and Mathias live next door to the cabin, were always reachable and very helpful when we needed something. Happy to go again for a longer time:) highly recommended.

Fantastic stay right on Lake Mattsee – highly recommended! We were very lucky to spend a few days in this beautiful house on Lake Mattsee, and it was just fantastic. The location is unbeatable – right on the lake with breathtaking views that delight every morning. The place was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated and superbly equipped, so we didn't miss anything. Herbert welcomed us warmly and was an attentive, friendly host who was always available for questions. Thank you, Herbert, for this unforgettable vacation! We will be happy to come back.

We had a great time at this beautiful house! We were two couples with two babies and we had comfort and plenty of space for everyone. The balcony has a beautiful view and it's fun to hang out there. We felt comfortable immediately upon arrival, the apartment is small, but very lovingly and practically designed. Everything you need, even for self-catering, is available and of high quality. Marlene is an extremely friendly and helpful hostess who also gives you tips for activities. In addition, plenty of brochure material is available. Pauli and Leo also make the stay very special.

Highlight of our Austrian vacation. Beautiful location, peaceful and quiet. Place is well built and maintained with all amenities needed. 10/10. And to Claudia and her family, 100/10. She was most helpful and polite, always available and did more than one can even ask for. If you find it available, book it.

the location is amazing but to get to it, you have to drive on narrow lanes. the view from the apartment is lovely with mountain view.

This bnb was convenient to Salzburg yet also had a secluded and private feel to it. Only a few km from Salzburg, this spacious rental was large enough for my family of 5. The property backed up to a beautiful forest and creek. Bea was a great host, giving local recommendations, clear check in instructions, and responded promptly to any needs we had.

We had a wonderful time at Gabriele's place! I was there with my girlfriend and her dog and we felt very welcome from the first moment. The property is beautifully located – especially the terrace with the view of the colorful flower meadow, the adjacent forest and the mountain was really nice. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding! Gabriele, her husband and her dear dog welcomed us warmly and were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. You can tell that she is a hostess with a lot of love and dedication. A very special highlight was the breakfast: simply the absolute best! Gabriele prepares everything with great care and even bakes her delicious pastries herself – a real treat that we won't soon forget. We can warmly recommend a stay with Gabriele

Katrin's place is great for a getaway. She made us feel right at home quickly and provided lots of recommendations in the area. We will have to visit again as there were so many nice things to do. The house was cosy and the outdoor space was great to relax.

This place is truly a gem. Even better than the description. I was here for a full week for work at the university and it could not have been a better place to call home. Great neighborhood, so walkable. The apartment is large and well maintained. It had a washer which I wasn’t expecting but helped me out. The breakfast downstairs is great and everyone was so friendly. I highly recommend for the value.

If you want an authentic Austrian countryside experience while you travel, look no further. Great location in the countryside outside of Salzburg. Highly recommend if you do stay here to have your own personal vehicle as it’s a ways outside of town. So quaint and beautiful. Fritz was very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of outlets throughout the house for all your devices to charge. Couches and beds were comfortable. Mix matched towels, cups and cutlery however everything had its own charm to it. The washing machine is smaller than we’re used to using although it did a great job washing our clothes. Nice big shower with plenty of water pressure. There is an overnight accommodation tax (tourist tax) imposed by Austria apart from the Airbnb fees. While we were there (June 2025), it was €2,50 per person, per night although the tax amount can fluctuate. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fritz’s place and would recommend it to others.

My partner and I really enjoyed staying at the Holzknechthütte. The accommodation is rustic and simple and still offers some comfort (warm water for the bathtub outside, small fridge, Wi-Fi, electric stove and wood stove, running cold water in the cottage, kettle, pots and pans, dishes). The location is quiet, surrounded by nature and yet easily accessible: by car via the forest road or on foot from Lunz am See via the beautiful and interesting railway adventure trail (duration about 1.5 hours). On site, the contact person was very accommodating and friendly. In the rain, it is a little cramped in the cottage, but it is well insulated and remained warm even in cool temperatures.

We felt so comfortable and let the soul really unwind! The cabin is very cozy and lovingly furnished. The terrace overlooking the horses is fantastic. Andreas is super nice and helpful! We will be happy to come back!

Peter and his family are very nice and warm, I immediately felt comfortable. The cottage is as described, small, rustic, cozy, surrounded by nature and with fantastic views. I really enjoyed my stay here and can fully recommend the cottage as well as the host.

Perfect place to relax for a few days in nature. There were two of us with a dog and we enjoyed the cottage to the fullest. You really don't see or hear anyone - except the chickens walking around the garden:-) The place was just as described and communication with Kim was always super quick, accommodating and friendly.
