The only thing I would say is that the house is a bit cold ... the radiators did not heat it much. I think the stay would be much better in summer since it has the bathroom and shower outside. Not only was the place a great compromise in terms of distance, it offered stunning views of the Cantabrian mountains. The apartments offered all the mod cons, which allowed us to come back after a days hiking, relax and cook our own dinners. Some evenings we decided to walk to Onis, which is 30-40min away. The best part of the trip was Virginia who looked after us with recommendations and answered our questions about the region. She even procured olive oil for us which we mistakenly forgot. If you're looking to explore the Cantabrian hillsides of Covandonga, we highly recommends Virginias place beside Onis.”
