The hiking trails are only a short drive away. Boat perfect for fishing and other things can be rented. If desired, bed linen and towel can be rented for 125,- per bed. Used items should be collected and prepared for cleaning.

In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.
