Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Ards and North Down

Darin’s place was modern, clean and comfortable. It was also within walking distance from the train station, Botanic. Darin was very accommodative to our short-notice request to extend the stay for another night. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

We wanted a comfy place to stay in the Botanic area as visiting our son with parking and Darin’s place ticked all the boxes. Responsive host, met with us at property with hand over of keys and instructions. Very friendly with local tips . Apartment spacious and newly refurbished. Complex was quiet during our stay. Beds comfy with cotton sheets and fresh towels. We didn’t use the balcony but having patio doors meant room light with a view. Even had a late night lazer display from festival at Ormeau park. Well equipped place and secure parking was a real bonus. Botanic Avenue bustling day and night, we walked everywhere, even into the city centre but train and buses very nearby. Loved the usual sights of Belfast, St George’s market was a treat, we found a lot of traditional Irish pubs and loved a walk and picnic up to Cave Hill in the sun . We ll be staying at Darin’s place again when we next visiting.

Great apartment, just off the Lisburn Road, walkable to shops, bars and restaurants. Very good size, plenty of space. Lovely comfy beds. Great kitchen. Felt at home and would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed staying at Paula's flat, it made our trip much easier. Paula was super accommodating for both us and our dog. Found the flat very comfortable and homely, easy to find everything. On arrival Paula was there to meet us not just with a friendly hello and some recommendations but with a whole bag of groceries as well - we couldn't get through it all! We felt safe and happy in the flat and location and are going back in March! I can't fault the flat or Paula at all. Thank you so much and looking forward to seeing you again in March!

A lovely and homely apartment equipped with everything you'd need and more. Extremely comfortable beds and a host that was so welcoming and responsive. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Great stay! Highly recommend! Will was always responsive within a timely manner & his mother, Esme, was fabulous at check in! Esme met us to provide us with keys and a parking pass. She gave us a detailed walk through of the apartment and showed us how to use all of the amenities. She also provided us with recommendations and clear directions into the city centre. We did have some issues using the washer/dryer (however, it was likely user error), but Will was quick to reply with direction and Esme remained available if we required her assistance. Otherwise, the unit was clean and well decorated with plenty of linens. Laundry and dish detergent available. They also provided us with coffee, sugar, milk & cereal! The unit was also a reasonable walk to the city centre and restaurants/pubs/bars. Would definitely consider booking with Will again, should we ever find ourselves back in Belfast!

The pics do not do this place justice. It is truly a show stopper. Gorgeous! Gary's directions to enter were very much appreciated. The location is close to everything you will need. But as others have pointed out, the concerts across the street are very loud. When we arrived a techno rave concert was just getting ramped up. In all fairness, Gary is very transparent in his listing. It just wasn't our taste in music. I discovered it's easy to check the concert schedule online (Custom House Square) and if you see an artist that you enjoy, you are going to have the best seats in the house. Fortunately, it was only one evening and the rest of our stay was brilliant. I failed to pull the instructions from the plastic folder and Gary was so kind and patient with me until I discovered my error. Everything is covered! The bed was divine and the linens were 5 star hotel quality. Finally...the views. The views. Every. Single. Room. Gorgeous. Book this if it is available!

We had an amazing stay at this spacious 7-bedroom house! The views were stunning, and the place was squeaky clean with all the amenities we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions, making our stay even easier. Highly recommend for a large group getaway!

Thanks very much Jay for a great stay, house was in a fab location a couple of minutes drive from the city, quiet neighbourhood ensuring we got a restful night sleep after a hard day shopping. Beds were comfy and the massive couch was great for relaxing on. We had a great stay and will be back again soon.Thanks a million

Strongly recommend, very nice and friendly house owner. Even have breakfast prepared. Locates in a convenient and safe area, with bus stop outside the door and a police station nearby. The only problem is the car noise from the road in night.

Rory is a great host. And his place is a perfect stay for any peace loving person. The neighborhood is quiet and clean and you can arrive most of the city site within 30-minute walk. Highly recommended.

My family and I stayed for three nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The barn was immaculate and exactly as described in the listing. The barn was equipped with lots of little extras which made our stay very comfortable. The property is surrounded by a beautiful landscape, which provided a perfect retreat from the bustle of the city centre, but still within an easy commute of city attractions and the coastal road, Giant’s Causeway etc. Hilary was an absolute pleasure to deal with, extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. Thank you Hilary. We are grateful for the ‘Old post office cafe’ recommendation - the food was delicious! We will definitely recommend Hilary’s place to our friends.

Lily and Shibu are brilliant hosts! They both were very helpful throughout my stay, providing valuable advice and instructions. The entire accommodation is very comfortable and quiet, situated in a lovely neighborhood close to the Waterworks Lakes. I highly recommend staying with Lily & Shibu if you find yourself in Belfast! I would definitely come back.
