I enjoyed every minute of my stay at Anna’s lakeside cottage! She is a wonderful, responsive & warm host. The cottage was spotless & well-stocked with everything you might need during your stay. If you’re traveling with a dog, you won’t find a more dog-friendly host/AirBnB! The cottage had two (!) luxurious dog beds that my dog loved lounging in, plus thoughtful extras — dog bowls, a can for storing dog food, a tie-out leash in the yard, etc. The yard is beautiful & securely fenced in. The waterfront side isn’t fenced — which you’ll appreciate for the unspoiled view & access — so if your dog is prone to jumping in, you might need to keep a watchful eye on your pup or walk them on a leash in the yard. That was no bother; I enjoyed leash walks with my dog in the yard, taking in the stunning views of the lake. The peaceful, safe neighborhood is also wonderful for walks. If you like birding, you’ll love this place; it’s a wildlife oasis! This is the best AirBnB I’ve rented! It’s perfect!

Had an AMAZING stay at Joe's to celebrate our daughter's college graduation. Graduation plus a vacation all in one! The house was spotlessly clean and roomy enough for 8 adults to eat at the dining table. We especially LOVED the beautiful backyard which was a great backdrop for family photos had something for all the generations in our group to enjoy - from birdwatching to fire pit and frisbee. As a bonus the location couldn't be better with a quick walk to tons of food, shopping, and some after dinner ice cream. To top it all off, Joe was wonderfully communicative and flexible with making our stay the best. The whole family agreed that we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Shiying’s house was perfect for our family get together. Everyone felt comfortable, the view was outstanding, we sat on the side deck for hours. We had plenty of towels, linens, kitchen was stocked, beds were comfy and the dining table sat all of us which is very important to us. And plenty of parking which is not easy to find on the lake!

This place exceeded our expectations and we already talked about returning! It worked out perfectly for an old group of friends (who we all made time) to spend the weekend fishing and eating and all the things to do together! Loved that the backyard is fully fenced in bc we were able to bring along our dogs for the fun weekend too! The guys had fun taking out the kayaks and boat out into the lake too! So that was a fun amenity to the home! Unfortunately the weekend we went, the wind was terribly strong.. so we ended up not using the bonfire (but hopefully we can next time! 😅) - we weren't even sure how the fishing would be due to the weather but thankfully our group ended up catching a couple of pan fish! Thank you for hosting us! We cant wait to return!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakefront property! The house and surrounding grounds are absolutely stunning; peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights for us was the access to all the water toys. We had so much fun with the kayaks and truly appreciated being able to use the boat lift! Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. It really felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene lakeside retreat. We’re already looking forward to our next trip to Hyco Lake!

Mel’s place was great with plenty of room for me and my coworkers. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Couldn’t have asked for much more. Would be a great place to stay for a getaway.

The cabin was peaceful and had a very at-home feel to it. The beds were firm yet comfortable, there was a washer and dryer which was very helpful for our family of 4 and our week long stay. Plenty of towels and blankets were provided as well as basic necessities such as soaps, kitchen utensils and everything needed for lake activities including fishing, kayaking and swimming. I will say you may want to stop and grab some bug spray on your way in. The owners were kind enough to give us a can when they came down to offer us help with our luggage. The owners were sweet and we loved meeting them. We would love to be back ❤️

Leah and her husband were absolutely wonderful from our very first interaction. We were visiting to celebrate our wedding, and they went above and beyond to support us, even helping with a small outdoor family gathering. They were also kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, which made our day so much smoother. The property was beautifully set on the water - peaceful, scenic, and perfect for the occasion. The home was spotless and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and Leah made sure we were settled and had everything to make our stay perfect. She even made personalized signs for our event and guest parking, which our family really appreciated. Everyone was blown away by the space and the hospitality, but the star of the show might have been little Miss Lily - the sweetest kitty that loved a good snuggle with the family! Thank you again, Leah, for such a memorable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!! :)

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

Trevor's Cabin has a breathtaking view. The cabin is really nice with a full wood panel interior, lots of large water facing windows, and is very isolated. The property was spotless. Super easy to check in with clear instructions. Trevor Replied to every message within minutes. BBQ was clean and in perfect condition. outdoor picnic table and 4 Muskoka chairs. Private dock. all in all, a perfect cottage getaway location. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Our group of 5 had a wonderful stay at Dan’s cottage - truly a gem in a beautiful location and very close to Ottawa! Really well-equipped, clean, having access to a beautiful lake, fireplace, kayaks and SUPs makes it a very relaxing and enjoyable stay👌🏼👌🏼. We will be coming back for sure!

We LOVED staying at Brock’s cottage. Even though it rained most of the days we were there, the location was beautiful. Both the cottage and the bunkie (which could be its own place!) had a wonderful cottage chic vibe and were fully stocked with everything you could need for an extended stay. We not only got to enjoy a fire outside one night but used the wood stove inside, with plenty of dry firewood available from the hosts. Beds and couches were comfortable to sleep on with tons of blankets and pillows available. Lots of water toys to enjoy - fishing rods, boat, canoe, kayak, water board and floating mat for the summer. Dock had muskoka chairs available to sit and drink coffee. Water was clean and had some sandy patches. Lots of outdoor seating, screened in porch, lots of parking and so peaceful. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommend!

We had a nice calm stay, the kayaking was certainly the main reason for booking this cabin and it was lovely with a trip on the lake. The place was nice and rustic inside, and jacuzzi was also good. The only complaint was the coffee pod machine wasn't working and constantly switched on and off

This cabin was great for our purposes and we had a wonderful time. The land is beautiful, the cabin is pristine, and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to do a lot of cooking. These are just a few notes for future guests: 1. Kayaks: Just to make it clear for future guests, not all the canoes and kayaks advertised in the photos can be found on the property. We found three kayaks total, one of which was very dirty and unkempt. 2. The listing advertises that the cabin sleeps 8 total, including a couch and an air mattress. We were at full capacity and needed to use both the couch and the air mattress, but there was no bedding to be found for the air mattress. We made due with what we had, but I do believe bedding for the air mattress should be included if the air mattress is to be counted as an eighth “bed.” All in all, we had a great stay and I would highly recommend this cabin. Just wanted to include these notes for future guests.

Absolutely beautiful place and oh so peaceful. While there is a road right by the house, it doesnt really distract from the beautiful scenery and noise of the creek nearby. We took advantage of basically all the ammenities. We went in the canoe, relaxed in the hot tub, enjoyed the convenient fire place and grill, caught a fish or two in the lake and had a great time being so close to some beautiful trails! And oh so many naps on the comfortable porch bed swing. The stairs to the loft were not an issue for us or our dog either, but note that they are steep, so they could be an issue for smaller dogs or people with mobility issues. We would absolutely love to be back again in the future!

Lovely little cabin! This is the perfect destination if you enjoy a lot of water activities. The water is just a few paces away from the cabin itself, and the view is glorious. I spent most of my time reading on the front porch and enjoying the peaceful ambience. I would recommend the airbnb to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!!

My wife and I, along with another couple and our dogs, had an incredible stay at Amelia’s Cabin. There was so much to do and see, and the views were absolutely amazing. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing by the lake. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, which made cooking a few meals easy and enjoyable. One of the highlights was teaching our dog to swim, thanks to the clean lake, private beach, and peaceful setting, it was the perfect spot for it. Amelia even gave us a courtesy call on our way up to let us know they were moving the kids’ playground. We didn’t mind at all, but her transparency and communication were greatly appreciated. I’d highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful escape!

Very cozy cabin! It had everything we needed. We have stayed in Sandy Sue cabin, so we decided to come back to enjoy some peace and quiet. The setting is so beautiful and relaxing.
