Chalet vacation rentals in Appalachian Mountains

Really lovely Airbnb in a beautiful location! I came with my dogs and they were right at home. This spot was truly a dog friendly location. They even provided dog bowls and beds! There was also a ton of room to run and play with them. You really can’t beat the location and view if you want to get away. I love that there are chairs both on the patio and in the lawn to enjoy the view. My husband and I were looking for a place to truly check out and get away from work and this was the perfect spot for that. The bed and couches were really comfy, the kitchen had all the basics and I love that there was a fireplace option, even if we didn’t need it. It rained a ton while we were there and the yard gets pretty soggy, so if you’re planning for outdoor playtime on a rainy day, bring your rainboots! 10/10 stay and we’re already talking about booking another weekend there.

Loved staying in this unique house with my family! The mountain roads to get there could be a little intimidating for someone who has never really driven in the mountains before (I’m originally from FL), but you can adapt quickly. The bed upstairs was ridiculously comfortable, the house was clean, the area was very peaceful/quiet, and you’re fairly close to everything. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a lovely stay! The outdoor space was beautiful and the hot tub and deck were the perfect place to relax. Inside was comfortable and clean. The beds and furniture could probably be updated a bit but that didn’t make our stay less enjoyable. Peaceful to relax and close to Berkley Springs to enjoy the shops and restaurants.

Michael was an excellent commentator and has a beautiful and relaxing house.

What a dreamy place to stay! We loved it. So stylish, comfortable and thoughtfully laid-out. Every detail was considered. The views are incredibly beautiful, the host is so responsive and considerate and it is just so comfortable. We loved the amazing windows and surrounding forestry. Near to Alice’s Coffee which was scrumptious and a nearby mini-horse farm. Bird watcher’s paradise. We loved our stay and would happily return and for longer. Obsessed with the decor!

We loved our stay at the Mountain View Chalet! The views were great and the chalet had a real comfy vibe. It had everything that we needed and Linda and Chris were very easy to communicate with. The location is perfect for a trip to Santa’s Village and with Littleton only 20 minutes away, there were plenty of options for food and drinks. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

This was a great place to stay! We visited with our 1.5 year old and our golden retriever, and we have no complaints! Our entire stay was very baby and dog friendly! You are walking distance from a beach and kid-friendly park. You are also a quick drive or bike away from down-town shops and more beaches. The location itself has a nice privacy fence, so we felt safe with our toddler and it was more private compared to comparable places nearby. There were dog treats and a dog bowl ready for our doggo as well, which was much appreciated. Would recommend!

This place was absolutely awesome! We had a group of 10 girls and all fit very comfortably in the house. Everything was super clean and tidy! The beds were extremely comfortable and the linens were very clean too. Parking was super easy, we had a couple girls park at the pool listed and had no issues. Overall highly recommend for a group of 10!

This was a beautiful home in a very private area. Very peaceful. Michelle was a fantastic host and was very responsive to any messages we sent. The kitchen was super stocked and made it easy to cook nice meals all week. Thanks for an awesome week!

The photos don’t even begin to do this place justice! There’s so much beautiful greenery and places to safely wander with friends on the property. There’s a few sweet towns and spots to check out nearby as well. We had a great time with the treehouse and enjoyed the beautiful backyard. It rained a few days we were staying, but the house was perfectly cozy for us and it didn’t feel like we were missing out on anything. This place is amazing!

We loved our stay at the Chalet! It was peaceful, stunning, and exactly the retreat we were looking for. It was incredibly close driving-wise to some shopping and activities, but with how beautiful the place was, we opted to spend more time just lounging, reading, and spending time in the house. The views were sublime!

This place is absolutely beautiful! The house is incredible (and so is the decor!), the woods are calm and quiet, and there were plenty of toys, both inside and outside, for our toddler to enjoy! Also, loved the shower’s pressure and consistent temperature and though the kitchen sink was awesome (actually wrote down the name of the faucet because we’re in need of a replacement at home)! We’d definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone checking it out :)

Stayed here as part of our honeymoon. Maggie offered special additions for our stay such as champagne and bath robes, late check out, and breakfast/lunch/dinner stocked in the fridge upon our arrival. On night 2 there was a crazy thunderstorm that knocked out power. By the morning she had left a cooler full of ice, and fresh water for us to drink, which was very much appreciated! The unit was wonderful and very romantic. Huge bonus that they had 2 Tesla Mobile chargers on site! The only criticism I have is that none of the windows opened, and there were no screened windows or doors, which made sleeping with no power very very hot! Aside from that, everything was perfect, and the fresh eggs I picked from the chicken coup were the best eggs I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful place with a Great Lake view. We enjoyed the fall colours around the lake. The interior was cozy and we loved it. We will come back again ❤️.

Beyond our expectations. No detail is left to chance. Everything looks new and clean. You can't see or hear the neighbors. The chalet is very functional.

What a beautiful, peaceful place. My wife and were looking for a quick getaway/workcation, and this was the perfect spot for it. Everything we needed in a cozy, comfortable cabin-y spot. Being on the river and enjoying the falls nearby was especially great. The house is great, and very comfortable all-around. We're looking forward to coming back and enjoying in different seasons. The host was great and communication had everything we needed.

Marie-France was an exemplary host. Concerned about our well-being and ultra-fast responses. The place was very clean, functional, comfortable, modern and we were very comfortable. The outdoor terrace allowed for a beautiful view of the lake and the place is quiet and peaceful.

Lovely space, really enjoyed my time there, and bonus to have access to boats and dock on the lake. Thank you!
