Salvatore’s place was a magical place to stay! The fact that you are in a building that is hundreds of years old and right below an old castle wall with beautiful views over the countryside and Ionian Sea is like living in a dream! The home is beautifully renovated with charm and character and it’s graced with Salvatore’s art! If you don’t want to go exploring, you can hang out on the upper patio and enjoy the views, or take a walk through the town or up to the castle. Salvatore left excellent recommendations on places to see in the area and shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend Gerace and also the abandoned castle. The beaches are a perfect spot to go on days when you want to get out but not do a lot of driving around. I would rate Salvatore’s home up at the top of the Air BnBs we have stayed in during our 6 weeks in Italy! Thank you for a lovely stay Salvatore !

Lovely little oasis with breathtaking views of the coast.

We had a lovely three nights in Briatico. A very peaceful, quiet and walkable town, with a few local shops, cafe and restaurant handy to walk to. There was a small local market on the day after our arrival. Also well placed to visit Tropea and Capo Vaticano. Pietro was great with helpful recommendations. He explained everything thoroughly and was at hand for a few minor things that were rectified almost immediately! The apartment was spotless with touches to make it feel more homely. We were also welcomed very thoughtfully with a bottle of local wine, and local oranges and lemons, together with some breakfast goodies and local coffee. I wanted to thank Giacomo from the heart for the wonderful hospitality during my stay. The apartment was perfect, exactly as described, and I really felt at home. I really appreciate the care and attention it has put into preparing everything and making my stay so comfortable. Thanks again for your availability and for making this experience so enjoyable.
