This was the sweetest and most charming Airbnb hostel we've ever had. There was so much personality, so much spirit from Kitty and Erik in every room, every object, that we liked very much. Obviously flea market goers with an eye for something special - just like us! Everything very clean, with even everything on site to make a hearty first breakfast and more. The staircase up is very steep, but well secured, and even our 70-year-old joints quickly got the hang of it. We enjoyed these days very much and it was like coming home every time. The house is really great. Lovingly decorated and super many things available. Especially for children, there are super many things to play with. The kitchen is also well equipped. We felt completely comfortable. We would come back anytime.

Very nice, bright place to stay. We were there with two toddlers and the rooms were very well furnished, so you didn't hear/wake up to each other. The apartment has everything you need for a stay. Activities are a little further away, so it's best to have a bike or car with you:-)

We were there with friends, with my son and two dogs. There was something for everyone. The garden for the dogs, my son was very happy about the many toys in the nursery and garden. The adults were all very satisfied, too. We had a great time and would be happy to come back. Nice contact and a very nice big house.

What a wonderful week we had with a total of 6 adults and two dogs. A super cozy and lovingly furnished cottage, enough space for everything and everyone, everything equally comfortable. A special place, the fabulous weather also cooperated, but even in less good weather this would have been wonderful and cozy. Lots to do, both in Moddergat itself and in the area, and then you don't have to drive far - both Dokkum and the Lauwersmeer area are great. Tip: go sailing with the men of the ZK9 (leave from Lauwersoog). And what a paradise for the dogs and for birdwatchers!! We'd love to come back. Thank you Gwen and Marieke that we were also allowed to be guests in your uniquely beautiful cottage!

beautiful historic house in the heart of downtown, finely and tastefully furnished, everything as described, excellent cleanliness and excellent check-in experience. The surroundings are very tidy and quiet, a true oasis of tranquility. Excellent communication with the host, really recommended

Very nice apartment on a picturesque courtyard with a great garden. The apartment itself has a fireplace and is very cozy. There are toys for children indoors and outdoors and lots of animals around. There is a swimming pool nearby and beautiful cities, e.g. Elburg, are also close by. We will be happy to come back!

The cottage is fantastic if you love peace and nature. The decor is completely hip and happening, but also very comfortable. We have enjoyed the nice place.

Spacious and beautiful accommodation in a beautiful place. Welcomingly welcomed with some treats. We enjoyed the space, the animals, the trampolines and all (play)amenities. Nice to taste the atmosphere of farm life for a while. Unfortunately, you can only stay one night; the children wanted to stay there or at least stay longer. ;) Would be happy to come back.

The cottage was fully equipped, clear explanation about the accommodation and cozy and clean. We could not come until later than the agreed time so the sheet packages, the high chair and the cot were already ready for us instead of having to pick them up. Very attentive. Due to the nice contact, the cottage and the park itself definitely recommended!

We had 2 wonderful days in the forest house. The house is nicely furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped. The beds sleep wonderfully. The house is very complete. And from the cottage you have beautiful hiking trails.

Very nice and cozy cottage in a beautiful wooded area and within cycling distance of the beautiful town of Hattem and Zwolle. Especially the garden is very nice and cozy. We were neatly met by Fronnie and her husband. Highly recommended!

What a nice, fully equipped bungalow in a beautiful setting! The cottage really has everything you could need and was (and smoke) super clean. I was with my sister and we both had our own bedroom with a doubter. Everything was available in the kitchen, you can even bake a cake if you feel like it! The bathroom has a spacious shower with good water pressure. Mark responds quickly if you have any questions and is super friendly, and gives fun tips for the neighborhood on his own. The area is beautiful for hiking, especially nice with dogs. I would love to come back!

We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, we only stayed there for two nights so we didn't see much. The IJsselmeer is half an hour away, so easily accessible. On site, if you stay longer, it would be good to bring bicycles. The apartment was clean and well appointed. We didn't miss anything. Small attentions were even ready for us. When the weather is nice, the terrace is great... Highly recommend overall:-)

This is a lovely little chalet set in a beautiful nature area. The chalet is very comfortable and has all the day to day necessities. There are bikes for guests to use. Martine and Manuel are wonderful hosts. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely stay for two weeks. Airbnb was very well equipped and homely. Would benefit from a site map for first arrival but a lovely stay none the less. Host was helpful with any issues. Lovely site also
