Monthly Rentals in Ambleside

A cosy cottage 5 minutes walk out of Ambleside. Ideally located to be near to the town but quiet at night. We found the interior to be exactly as listed. Overall, it was a great base for exploring the area.

I loved this place. It's well located for everything, food, access to amenities, everything. There was a slight issue with the front door but Joe and Amy sorted it very quickly. They were very helpful. I'd definitely recommend this place 👌

This cottage was perfect for our group of 4. The location is great, with lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The beds and space were very comfortable. We had a little trouble finding the cottage as we arrived late at night and the instructions didn't mention there are 3 cottages and Blue Hill is number 3, which is hard to see in the dark. Luckily we called the number and they were incredibly helpful, especially given how late it was. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute place to stay while exploring the lakes!

Jem calls his place 'The Conga' but I would call it Jem's Gem! It is a beautiful, self contained apartment with lounge/kitchen downstairs and bedroom/bathroom upstairs. From the bedroom, the views over and out to Lake Windermere are stunning. We spent 4 days at The Conga and loved every moment of our stay in the Lake District, especially when doing nothing except drinking coffee on the tranquil, serene, patio surrounded by wonderful trees & bushes and the sounds of nature going about her tasks. Jem takes the time to recommend walks and restaurants, which we found to be invaluable. If you get the opportunity to stay at Jem's Gem, sorry The Conga, then go for it ... you won't regret it!
