Vacation rentals in Albemarle

Exactly what we needed before my daughter’s wedding! I stayed with my brother and his wife and my sister and we all loved it and were comfortable. The beds were a bit firm, but we only stayed 2 nights and were able to sleep well.

I stay at this location because it is very near my family and it’s a good place to be for Thanksgiving. It’s very peaceful and a nice place especially if you have a dog to walk as there are woods behind the house.

A perfect place for 5 adults. Home is beautiful, spacious, and CLEAN. Good communication with owners. Clear instructions for check in, check out, & some tips for the home. Would definitely stay again when we are in the area. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Pamela was an excellent host, always helpful and prompt in response to any request. We had 3 nights over Thanksgiving with nearby friends; this was the best time together ever! The kids loved that they could walk over to their friends. Some great nearby hiking trails, and the weather for the end of November was superb and sunny but refreshingly chilly at night. Sitting by the lake was beautiful, watching the sun rise and set each day, playing games, puzzles, reading, fishing, and hiking. We would do this again and recommend it to others. Thank you!

We loved our stay at this like house! Our guests raged from 9 to 93 and all enjoyed the comfortable and homelike atmosphere. The peaceful surroundings provided the perfect counterpoint to the busy weekend we had for a nearby wedding. As the stressed out mother of the bride, this place provided the peace and calm I needed to relax to help me enjoy the weekend! For the first time going the AIRBNB route, this experience has sold me on trying it again.

If I could give Stephanie’s space 6 stars I gladly would ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ The sunroom was such a delight offering beautiful views of the yard which kept the kids entertained for hours. My girls loved the toys and books, and their room was absolutely perfect. The primary suite was incredibly spacious, and the beds were so comfortable. Stephanie and George truly have thought of everything and more, which made our stay so enjoyable. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every detail, including the small gifts Stephanie left for our arrival and the handmade gift she gave us upon departure. We thoroughly appreciated every moment of our time here and the Christmas decorations were the cherry on top. We hope to return soon!
