We had a really lovely stay at Federico’s place - it is exactly like the photos and the views of la Spezia and the Mediterranean Sea were absolutely stunning. Federico’s father gave us a warm welcome and very kindly gifted us a bottle of wine! Our favourite things about the apartment were surely the two amazing balconies, the super comfortable bed and the scenic location in the tiny and authentic Italian town away from the touristy bustle of Cinque Terre. We enjoyed a tasty and super affordable breakfast at the bistro downstairs every morning and were always greeted with kindness! The apartment overall is rather small, as is the bathroom and shower and the water pressure is rather low. The parking is not on the premises, it’s street parking and depending on availability it’s a bit of walk - loading & unloading your luggage is possible in front of the door though! There’s no WiFi and reception can be rather spotty. Overall we really loved our stay and would happily return to Campiglia!

We, two adults and three children, had a wonderful time in this beautiful penthouse. Although the weather was not on our side, we made some lovely trips to neighbouring villages and Genoa. The beach is almost on the doorstep and is clean. The area is perhaps a little too quiet for teenagers, but that was also due to the weather.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, with great facilities and a wonderful view. It was slightly difficult to get to due to a large amount of steps however I think it was worth it. The apartment was very close to Rapallo’s coastline, restaurants, and shops, and it was in a very peaceful area. The apartment is in a living complex and so there is some noise from above during the early hours of weekdays but it would not be enough to stop me from returning. Thanks, Alessandro. The apartment is very spacious and welcoming. Brand new and very clean bath and bed linen. Located in a quiet area, 5 minutes from the station and a 10-minute walk from the sea and the center. The only downside was the parking, we struggled to find a free one and in the end we fell back on the paid parking. Another difficulty in front of the house is that it is not possible to stop to unload your luggage.

Matteo was a brilliant host. Really friendly and gave us great recommendations. The location of the apartment is brilliant. Close to shops, restaurants and bars. Also a short walk to the station. We loved exploring the nearby towns and our highlight was the hiking trail. So picturesque! We hope to return one day. Thank you Matteo!

Be prepared to climb the hill with your luggage from the train station, then up several steep flights of steps. Pack light! Great base location for seeing the five towns. Many nearby restaurants, markets, little shops to get what you need. Kitchenette is great for stovetop/toaster oven cooking or reheating. Balcony is ideal spot to sip a glass and look at the beautiful view. If church bells every half hour from 7am - 7 or so pm will bother you, beware the bell steeple right next to the balcony. It did not bother us and did not disturb our sleep. Franca and husband are super nice.

We spent a week at the end of April with six people. Communication with Federico has always been excellent. Very responsive, friendly, welcoming and super flexible in terms of check-in and check-out times. Really no pressure and it's very much appreciated. What can I say about the accommodation, the landscape and the village... just an extraordinary interlude. Compliant, even better than in the photo! Plus, the weather was also better than expected! It's just extremely beautiful and peaceful. The house is high up so you have to be fit to walk up from the beach. With teenagers, it's doable. In addition, we cross a nice path to go up. On the other hand, it's difficult if you have small children and strollers. The road is narrow and winding but a parking space is available near the house. This season, we had no difficulty parking downstairs, paid but reasonable rates. Ages 13 to 50, we all highly recommend it!!

A remarkable view, comfortable apartment, clean and equipped with everything you need. The location allows you to reach the center of Lavagna and the sea in 5 minutes; the center of Chiavari in 15 minutes. Leave the car and walk... The view is truly remarkable.

Alessia and Carlo are hosts as we would like to see from everywhere: availability, responsiveness, kindness, hospitality, and helpfulness. They are great advice and incredible patience for anyone who doesn't master Italian. The house is ideally located 10 minutes by car from La Spézia and Alessia will give you all the good tips to park for free near the train station. Not far from the golf of the poets and Portovenere, the village of Ricco del Golfo is quiet and with very pleasant local shops (pasticeria, cafeteria, very cheap restaurant) . As for the house, it is spacious, very convenient, well equipped as advertised and impeccable cleanliness. We liked the immediate proximity to the Cinque Terre, the golf of the poets but also the proximity to Tuscany because we were indeed able, from the house to go to Tuscany and visit Florence Siena and Pisa. Our family of four (two adults, two teenagers) stayed at Pietro’s place for three nights and had a lovely time. The location is excellent, perhaps the best in all of Cinque Terre. Easy train access, close to the beach and restaurants. The WiFi (for the teenagers) was good, and we enjoyed having morning coffee and evening wine in the lovely courtyard. Washer and dryer were a plus. AC in each bedroom meant we could be as warm or cold as we each wanted. We had no issues with our stay and would choose this place again!

We slept very well in the room with double exposure to the sunrise and the valley that opens towards the Scriva Valley and the mountains of the Ligurian Apennines, where the sun sets behind the peaks in the relaxing silence of the woods. The apartment is very tidy, very clean and airy, functional and with many really appreciable amenities: well-equipped kitchen, terraces and balcony overlooking nature. Each window is a painting: in one, we happened to see fallow deer coming down from the woods to graze around. The other inhabitants of the place are also very nice; some chickens, a rooster, two good dogs and two very intelligent cats, and the little geese that occasionally come out in groups. The welcome was exceptional, Simona and Luca are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable hosts, ready to offer valuable advice to discover it at its best. The welcome aperitif is also very welcome! Wonderful days in a wonderful location with an extremely likeable hostess. Pure pleasure, the ambience is also incredibly great. We will be back!!!

Alice is a wonderful host. She greeted us on arrival and gave us the history of the house and the area. She came bearing local biscuits where were delicious and recommended local walks and restaurants. We drove to La Spezia and took the train to Cinque Terra. Sadly the weather wasn’t great, but we managed a walk into the local forest and ate at the local restaurant. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat! The garden boasted its own forest and stream. There was just enough space for our family and our dog.

We had already been to Lavagna in the past few years,but staying in the hotel. Having recently had our third child,they needed a place in a comfortable location,facing the sea and with all the comforts,elevator included. We had an excellent value for money,a nice spacious apartment,equipped with everything you need for a large family like ours. Everything perfectly working,from the TV,to the coffee machine,washing machine, various appliances. In addition, there were very nice books for children and small children. The rooms are very spacious and airy,with a huge balcony that goes around the house,Claudio on our arrival made us find various snacks for breakfast, coffee pods and fresh drinks. What can I say,really an available person,courteous and in a way,also very flexible for check-in and check-out. We will definitely return to Stay at Claudio's, ours was a super pleasant experience!!

The apartment was amazing - comfortable, cosy, clean, nicely decorated and furnished. The location is perfect, super close to the train station so you can easily visit Cinque Terre, close to Coop (supermarket), also walking distance to the city centre to go to restaurants, stores and marina. Alessandra was very communicative from the start, gave us local recommendations and advice, very kind. We highly recommend staying here!

Adriana is a lady... courteous and very helpful. The building is incredible....the first Art Nouveau building in La Spezia. Apartment had great attention to detail : it was the top floor...but don't worry there is a very authentic lift. Our balcony afforded incredible views over La Spezia. It is approx 10min walk from station , from which you can travel alllll over

It is a beautiful spot! We only wish we planned more time in Genoa. Maura was incredibly helpful with recommendations and her space was incredibly spotless. The amenities listed were perfect, very special that it has a washer and a dryer!

Stefano is a very kind and flexible host, he provided detailed information about the restaurants, places, travel options in the area. The accommodation was cozy, its special style was captivating, but a bigger cleaning would have been needed for the apartment. The main attractions and the train station are also close enough to the apartment, so it was ideal for us. We'd love to come back here.

A rare gem... The apartment is very large, comfortable, equipped with everything you need. But it's mostly Fulvio and his warm welcome that will give us the best memories of La Spezia. Our stay was great! The place had everything you’d need—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The only downside is that there aren’t many restaurants nearby, so just be prepared to cook or travel a bit. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay!
