My boyfriend and I wanted a private, relaxing escape and we found the perfect place with this property. The host was very responsive for minor issues with the hot tub and keurig and resolved those issues quickly. It’s the perfect location for day trips- we visited Shenandoah National Park for some hiking and Luray Caverns. We both agree that the accommodations made it more memorable and we hope to be back someday!

The Cottage at Hardware Hills Winery is absolutely wonderful! Very clean and well stocked. It is so quiet and peaceful. Rob and Andrea are wonderful hosts, both very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back for another visit!

This is a great little cottage tucked away in the trees. It is an easy drive to Charlottesville for restaurants and touristy stuff or you can just relax at the cottage in a rocking chair and listen to nature. Great little get away.

Steve & Dianne are responsive hosts who go above & beyond to welcome guests and provide a comfortable stay. The place is very tidy with clear directions and helpful guides. They have created a thoughtful spot to enjoy a peaceful retreat in a natural setting. It is a perfect place for those looking for a quiet place to relax.

This was my second stay here & I'll be back! Such a pleasant patio and cozy suite, nice shower, & I appreciate the tea selection, too!

What a gem! We went for an anniversay getaway and couldn't have asked for a better time. The tugboat was clean, we loved the decor and the views were amazing around the lake! There was plenty of nice hang out space outside of the tug too - we enjoyed the firepit and making smores. Mike and Ashleigh were great host and made sure we had everything we need. We will be visiting again, thanks for a great weekend!

We had a wonderful time. Mary and Junior were so friendly and hospitable. The house was very comfortable and clean. The house sits back so we had lots of privacy. Love the farm. Rolling land. New calves recently born. Perfect. We were down for a wedding in the area, but plan to come back for a vacation of our own. Thank you Mary and Junior

We had an amazing stay at Sandy and Chris’s place! From the moment we arrived, Chris went out of his way to make us feel welcome, offering a tour of the property. We got to meet Jasper, their friendly donkey, and the cows, which was such a unique experience. Chris also treated us to some fresh figs, which we picked right off the tree! The house itself was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. Chris kindly walked us through how to use the gas grill and hot tub, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Sandy and Chris were gracious hosts, and their attention to detail made our stay comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing and unique getaway!
