This place is magical, a beautifully designed, incredibly cozy little house surrounded by peace and quiet, with no cars around. In the mornings, you’re woken up by roosters! The host is super kind and welcoming, and there are great bars and restaurants just a short walk away.

We had a wonderful time at the villa. Szilvi prepared plenty of materials for us with suggestions on what to visit (some even in our language) and shared several of her own recommendations, including tips for families with children. We really appreciated the privacy of the accommodation, where we didn’t have to worry about our baby’s crying disturbing anyone in a neighboring room. Szilvi was very attentive and helpful — we truly enjoyed our stay, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Personally, I really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, where I didn’t miss a single thing needed for everyday cooking. Breakfasts and dinners on the terrace with a beautiful view had a special charm, and our two dogs enjoyed the spacious fenced garden. We will definitely come back. ☺️

Nora was extremely helpful while I was in Balatonmádi. I had my passport taken at the Budapest airport and Nora was my interpreter all the way. Her apartment was wonderful, very much like a comfortable home. It was 40°C the first day I was there but the apartment remained cool.

Nice and private little house in a quiet area in the beautiful northern Balaton landscape. Very good for hiking and a romantic time, recommended for couples.

We felt completely comfortable in the Füge-Vendégház. The location and the panorama delighted us. The house is very cozy and spacious. The terrace offers both sunny and shady spots – ideal for relaxing. The garden is wonderfully green, with lots of trees and plants. The pool is sufficiently large and was always very clean. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed linen pleasant and beautiful, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms were also clean and well usable. The location is excellent: Several wine terraces are nearby and are also within walking distance. Lake Balaton (Alsóörs beach) is a 5-minute drive. The view from the upper terrace of the lake is fantastically beautiful, especially in the evening. The hostess and the host were very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back anytime!

We had an unforgettable 3-night stay at Uncle Paul’s place in Balatonfüred. It truly felt like visiting family. Uncle Paul speaks excellent English and is incredibly knowledgeable, not just about wine, but also about local history, plants, and culture. He welcomed us with such kindness: picking us up from the train station (even with our two huge suitcases!), treating us to wine tasting while sharing his deep knowledge of Hungarian wines - how they’re made, where they come from, and what goes into them. He also generously offered us homemade Hungarian fish soup, fresh fruits and nuts from his garden, and even took time to drive us to beautiful Tihany. Uncle Paul has travelled to many countries and shared fascinating stories that kept us smiling and laughing. We drank together, sang together, danced together, and had the most wonderful holiday. Three nights were far too short, we left with full hearts and lovely memories. Thank you, Uncle Paul!

We had a super nice, pleasant holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is very well equipped, has a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with many trees, which give the necessary cooling during the hot summer days. (the airconditioners in the bedrooms are also a great added value) The quiet beach is around the corner (approx. 200m) and with the wagon you can easily take all your beach equipment with you. On foot or by bike you will be in the center at the bakery, small supermarket or restaurant. Highly recommended to discover the Balaton and this beautiful region.

We recently stayed at a beautiful cozy country home in Hungary with the whole family, and it was a wonderful experience. Each of us had our own room, all of which were beautifully furnished and had their own bathrooms. The large living room and dining room provided plenty of space for us to relax and enjoy meals together, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. We also really enjoyed the outdoor area, especially the pool and whirlpool, which were great for both relaxation and fun. The kids loved the trampoline and had plenty to keep them entertained. Overall, this vacation home was perfect for our family. It was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a great stay. We look forward to visiting again!

My family and I had an excellent time staying at Marta’s place. The pool, hot tub, ping pong table and foosball table were just some of the highlights. We loved the extensive amount of outdoor living space. Some days we used the outdoor grill and even made a porkolt over the gas burner which was already full of gas for our use. We had a few ants in one of the bedrooms and Marta was quick to send somebody over to rectify the situation. Lucky for us the house had enough bedrooms where this was a non issue. My son accidentally broke the glass of one of the kitchen cabinet doors and Marta was very easy to deal with it. I would highly recommend this place again and would consider staying again if my family and would re visit the Balaton. Thank you Marta for the great stay.

We had a perfect weekend at Melinda's, the house was beautiful, very clean and comfortable for 7 people. Everything is available in the yard for a perfect summer evening, barbecue, pool, sun loungers,… we will be happy to book again.

The Vadvirag Apartment is a great place to stay, if you are looking for an accomodation, which is quiet. The apartment itself was spacious, very clean and is equipped with everything you need. What we really liked was the big terrace and the swiming pool. Also the smart TV with Netflix was nice to have, so we could chill in the evening with our favourite series :) Laszlo also answered my messages very quickly :) Lake Balaton is about 15-20 minutes walk away, depends where you wanna go. A supermarket and a landromat is less than 5 minutes away, as well as the train station of Balatonaracs. Overall we had a nice and relaxing stay and we would definitly recommend the Vadvirag apartment :)

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful house. The pool is like heaven - exactly like on the picture. Very clean and well maintained. Great garden space for children. Very spacious indoor spaces, bathrooms, lots of lovely outdoor areas to chill out. The area is vibrant with options to eat out but the property is private. The host was very helpful. Pictures don’t do this place justice. So peaceful with the best view of lake balaton, feels secluded but with everything you could need. Host was very flexible and responsive. For those with small children and limited mobility would be aware that only one bedroom on the first floor and outside because of the nice view there are lots of stairs.

We loved our stay. Both of our hosts were so kind, responsive and helpful. The communication was very easy with them and every single thing matched with their description. We loved the balcony, the cherries Vera offered to us was delicious, the town is incredibly nice and walkable and so peaceful. Their cat also made our day by visiting our suite and hanging out with us for a while. If you’re looking for a peaceful weekend and beautiful people around, i can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for hosting us again and this will be our number one choice if we ever find ourselves there.

Are you looking for peace, nature, and a really nice place to unwind? Then this is the place for you! The lovingly furnished apartment is totally idyllic and quiet – perfect for couples who just want to unwind. A beautiful private garden is right by the house. Here you can also barbecue or lie in the hammock. The apartment is superbly equipped, it has everything you need – and a little more. It offers enough space for two, is modern and furnished with a lot of love for detail. A parking space right outside the door is of course also included. Bence was always available, super uncomplicated via WA and happy to help – no matter what it's about.

A fantastic and peaceful place — there's a grill, sun loungers, a small patio outside covered with grapevines, and a very large garden where our dogs were absolutely thrilled. Everything was clean and ready, and we received clear instructions about our stay. Getting there can be a bit tricky if it’s your first time, so make sure to carefully study the map provided by the host — I didn’t, and had trouble finding the location, which was entirely my fault. The garden offers beautiful views of Lake Balaton, and the opportunity to relax was exactly what we were looking for — and we found it here. We highly recommend this place and hope to return! Beautiful place, wonderful environment, I think it would be difficult to find a quieter place. There are great places in the neighborhood, and we highly recommend approaching them by bike. The reception is very kind and friendly. We recommend it to those who want to leave the city noise behind and relax close to nature. Thank you for having us!☺️
