Loved this little cabin so much! The screened in porch was amazing to be outside but away from the bugs. Very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The neighbors are friendly and helpful too! Eric was a fantastic host and attentive to any questions we had.

Very spacious and roomy stay. It feels like two houses, minus a kitchen on the bottom floor. Home was clean, tastefully decorated and served our needs perfectly. The surrounding acreage is great to explore with near by pond as well. Most everything you could need is available to make you stay comfortable and fun too.

Loved the details like: Slippers for us to walk around in, filtered water in the fridge, HOT water :), nice clean bedrooms with luggage racks, noise machine and oil diffuser, quiet neighborhood, plenty of towels and blankets available, some exercise equipment set out for use, and smart tvs to enjoy our favorite programs! We really appreciated it all!

This place is great—like someone sat down and said, “What if we made the coziest little house that actually has everything you need and nothing you don’t?” And then they nailed it. Everything has a purpose, it’s super clean, and it just feels… peaceful. Not fancy, but in a really good, Great Plains kind of way—simple, calm, and exactly right. Also—Emporia is a lovely little town! Super friendly folks, some solid food spots, and just an all-around chill vibe. This Airbnb was the perfect little home base for some gravel cycling. Would absolutely stay again.

Our family loved our stay at this Airbnb! The bed was comfortable and the cottage was very clean and updated. Was nice to have prairie around it but also be close to get into town. We travelled with two small children so really appreciated Jennifer letting us check in early and also providing a pack and play. Would definitely stay again!

we had to get together for a late Thanksgiving early Christmas out of town family and this was the perfect home to host that! Everything was well laid out, there was activities from our youngest to the oldest, we had great weather, so was able to sit in the backyard with a fire a few nights. We spent a lot of time cooking as a family, and the kitchen was perfect for that. I highly recommend Brickside Beds and will be telling family about it in the future!

The place was beautiful and so relaxing! We had a great time and Dee even gave up a loaf of bread, it was so yummy! This was the first Airbnb I stayed at that literally had everything we needed and more! She was extremely friendly and responsive. Laura was a great host! A few friends and I came to Emporia for a disc golf weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The property was within short driving distance to some of the best disc golf in Kansas. And we really enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit in the evening after a long day of disc. Would definitely stay again.
