We had a fantastic stay at Wattle Bird for a friend's getaway. The house was spacious and comfortable—perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 dogs. Rob and Di were exceptional hosts, warm and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The property had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Barwon Heads, with standout amenities like the BBQ, hot tubs, and a cozy fireplace. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wattle Bird and would love to return!

We had a lovely stay at Magdalena's place with family. It is so nice having a nice pet-friendly place to stay, with a great big backyard, table tennis table, and everything you need for a very comfortable stay, including a very comfortable living area and beds. Some breakfast and other goodies were much appreciated. Magdalena is a very friendly, responsive and accommodating host.

We had a lovely stay at Lisa's place. it's exactly like the photos, very clean and comfortable. Everything you would need is there, and the decor is beautiful. Everything is in natural tones, very relaxing. The rain shower is great. We are in our 70s but it was a pretty easy walk to town with our dogs. The backyard is enclosed and quite big. We were there on a very cool weekend so didn't sit outside but the backyard had a fire pit and outside seating.

Jane’s Blue House was a pleasure to stay at. Comfortable beds and good shower! I hope to be back next time with my 4 legged friends as I had to leave them behind for this trip.

My husband and I had a lovely 3 night stay at Kate’s house. The house was cozy and made us feel like we were away on a European holiday. The property is stunning and we would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Words don’t do it justice. Fran’s was a soothing oasis when we needed it most (after a losing a much loved pet the day before). We felt so at home. Sitting by the fire, walking down to the beach, soaking under the outdoor shower. The kitchen was the perfect place to cook up a meal and the beds were super comfortable. Can’t wait to return to this glorious spot.

My family and I were so happy with our stay. Secure front and backyard meant we could leave our dogs safely. Dog beach walking distance from the house was so handy. Quick driving distance to food. Dawn cafe was lovely and The Dunes was excellent. Also super kid friendly my little girls (3 and 1) had so much fun there was toys in the cupboard and the house was well set up for kids. This is the perfect place if you're looking for a pleasant, semi rural location for a medium short or even a long stay. Alieh is the perfect host and the flat itself has everything you need. We were 2 Brits coming to OZ for a year and needed somewhere to stay for a month while finding out feet. This worked beautifully for us. The location is slightly out of the way which for us was fine as we could come back to our haven after job hunting and football training. Alieh was brilliant to deal with and took us under her wing. House was amazing, close to shops and beach. Just was very responsive

The house & unit suited us perfectly (6 adults & 4 young children). There was lots of room both indoors & out for the kids (they made great use of the swings/slide). Plus a lovely big table for us all to eat at & great for group board/card games. The extra unit was very a lovely, quiet retreat if needed. The hosts were super responsive whenever I contacted them & when we had an issue (they came to sort it out immediately). Many thanks for contacting me immediately about an item left behind! The added extras of games for all ages, chopped wood for outdoor fire-pit, good supply of basic things (like oil, spices, salt & pepper, dishwasher pods, toilet paper) was great. Amazing views in all directions!

Absolutely lovely, very spacious and well appointed family home shared with us. Nice quiet surrounds with great outdoor areas. Being pet friendly was a great advantage. Everything was there, didn’t need for anything. Fully stocked pantry, toiletries and fridge essentials. Games and books in abundance. Entire property very clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated. Exceptional host. Will need to include the whole family for our next stay.

We stayed at Ivys place for 24 days and it was perfect. As a family with 2 young kids, having a pool was ideal. It was very clean inside and welcoming. Ivy was very accomdating as we came to Australia for our best friends wedding, and allowed the groom to stay the night before the wedding. Ivy was very responsive. The house is in a lovely area and the kids were gutted when we had to leave. Would definately stay again and highly recommend x

My husband, myself and our 4 adult children stayed at Lavender Farm. When first arriving we were greeted by their friendly dogs. Jacky had made a delicious cake and fresh bread plus farm fresh eggs and bacon ready for breakfast the next morning. It made us feel right at home. The farm is beautiful as is the accommodation. Tony (the host) was very friendly and helpful. The town itself has everything you need. Healesville is a lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend Lavender Farm.

A great stay, just on the edge of China town, the food in the area is incredible. Aside from endless food and drink the stay itself was perfect. A great space, the photos of the place honestly don’t do it justice. Having a night in the high rise with the city views is just a good time all around. Grantley, was incredibly responsive and was flexible when we needed something. We would stay here again without thought. Truly sad to have to check out! Till next time.

A cozy little getaway. Comfy beds and everything you need. Modest TV and no wifi (which is accurately described in the listing) so BYO entertainment (books, games etc) if you’re planning on settling in. Lovely, helpful hosts. Would stay again.

The Bungalino is a gorgeous experience created with an Italian flair. All aspects of the cabin are beautifully crafted and the food left for us was a lovely add on. The garden is exquisite as well and our Bella loved her little plays. Thank you 🙏🏽

We loved staying at Debbie’s. The house is very spacious and tasteful - lots of natural lights and peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed spending time in the backyard which was super private and quiet (and pet friendly). Thank you Debbie for hosting us!

Jack is a world-class host, super responsive and caring of his guests. The place got 2 decent size bedrooms spacious living room and beautiful back yard. The place is really close to the beach ( 3 minute walk) and 5 minute walk to Elwood village (where you can find cafes, deli, health food shops and bars). The bus station is just around the corner, so very easy to get around with public transport (1 stop from Acland street) Everything we needed Jack was fast to provide and we will definitely come back on our next visit.

Judith and Paul’s cottage was perfect for our stay in Healesville with our 15 month old son. The property was clean, tidy and had lots of amenities that were important to us as a young family, such as outlet covers, children’s toys, books and tableware. The back deck and gardens were stunning and provided a perfect spot to unwind. In terms of location the cottage is a short 6 minute drive to the Healesville sanctuary, and a short drive into town where there are lots of shops, cafes and parks. We can see why this property would be ideal if you have a dog! We will be recommending the property to our friends who like to travel with their pets.

We and the kids absolutely loved our stay. From the big backyard and ping pong table on the deck to the spacious living areas and comfy beds, we couldn't find any fault whatsoever. It's close to the beach and a couple of eateries, but very peaceful. looking forward to returning soon!
