Decorah High Point Magnolia Cabin was perfect quiet get away for our anniversary! Beautiful cabin, wonderful views and wildlife. Very relaxing!

Cory was great to deal with and communicated with me every time I texted him within minutes. zero problems with the place. Very picturesque and quite. Enjoyed having the windows open and listening to the frogs. Everything that was described and more. Will stay again.

This was our second stay at Trout Creek Cabin and, once again, was completely amazing. There's nothing better when it comes to the location of this property, nestled in amongst the cliffs with the most beautiful scenery and wildlife. The cabin is always super clean and cozy with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Suzette and Andrew are kind and hospitable! LOVE this place...we will be back again and again. It's truly a slice of heaven.

We had a lovely time staying here! It’s a beautiful cabin and we loved the property and location, especially the woods and fire place and beautiful views. We would love to return here in the summer, but it was great in the winter snow. However, there was a considerable lady bug infestation with ladybugs falling from the ceiling. Additionally, I wonder if the hot tub was over chlorinated, as some of us had a bad skin reaction and we smelled strongly of chemicals afterwards. That said, the hot tub was very clean and in a beautiful location overlooking the property. Host was very helpful and it was a great surprise that the driveway was plowed of snow before we left.

We had a great time despite the lack of maintenance and cleanliness. The hot tub was great. The location was private and peaceful and access to the state park was amazing. The owner needs to invest some time and money. It’s a diamond in the rough

We were offered a free upgrade day of our reservation and we accepted...man are we pleased we did! There was way more space than we needed but the nature around us was amazing!!! We loved being able to hear the night sounds of nature as we relaxed in the hot tub! Few things for future folks staying here, make sure to bring either hand towels or paper towels. The home is surrounded by wooded areas so there are many critters around...especially Asian beetles...we weren't bothered but we expected it.

Trout Lodge was a perfect spot for a fishing trip with some buddies. Paint Creek is easily accessed just a few yards from the cabin. Great for fishing and for sitting around watching wildlife. The cabins matched the description, and was well worth the price.

This cabin is remotely quiet away from cities. It is perfectly getaway to unplug and refresh!

We needed a place that allowed dogs and Alayna’s Airbnb worked for us. There wasn’t a dog run available; however, there was plenty of grass around her house for the dogs to roam on leash. And, there is a great park just a few blocks away. There were many excellent restaurants within walking distance and most allowed dogs on the porch. And, the biking is world class! Also, there was a bike shed available which really came in handy. Pam and Mike

Our party of five adults stayed at Andy's place for a birthday weekend and had a great time. The cabin and surroundings are as described ~ clean, unique, private, quiet. We kayaked and fished in the pond and ate our meals on the deck; we loved the outdoor spaces and appreciated having the kayaks and the fire pit available. We traveled to Elkader and Decorah during the days. The cabin was just the right place to come back to.

The Yellow River Get Away is so very private, the home and surroundings are perfectly maintained. The inside seemed much bigger than the posted images. I wish we could have stayed another night. The bed was warm and comfortable with many extra blankets available, and the shower pressure was strong. The kitchen was fully supplied with everything we needed. The internet was fast and reliable too. The best and most helpful was his help on the phone when we needed it (our paper maps did not show all the back road names)! He even drove over to make sure everything was okay.

This teeny tiny cabin was perfect for us, as we didn't plan on spending a lot of time indoors. We loved the old time cabin feel. It's just a short walk to the dam and downtown that has restaurants and shopping. The Root River bike trail is the reason we came to Lanesboro. Alayna has a safe place to lock your bikes when not riding. There is no TV so just unplug and enjoy your time in this quaint beautiful town.

Leslie’s home is comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. The bathrooms are very clean and have beautiful touches—like the wood framed mirror on the main floor. The bedrooms are comfortable and have many unique features including lovely furnishings. But the most memorable part of this home is the surrounding grounds with ponds and trees and wildlife. The location is terrific since it is just off the bike trail and fishing streams and parks are nearby. The small towns surrounding it are interesting and people are friendly.

Our stay at the cabin was a great time. Andy, took time to talk to us and answered all our questions we had. The deck was fun looking over the pond. We are excited to come back and stay at the bigger cabin.

My friend and I went for a few days as a birthday get away and thoroughly enjoyed our time. From waking up each morning to the beautiful surroundings and absolute quiet, to going on hikes and exploring decorah. The schoolhouse was such a calm and special place. I can’t wait to go back!

We stayed at Deb’s place for a baseball tournament weekend and had a wonderful experience. The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Deb was friendly and easy to communicate with, which made everything simple from start to finish. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing—just what we needed in between games. Would definitely stay here again!

We will definitely stay there again when in the area

We enjoyed the secluded, private and peaceful space. Great property to enjoy with manicured trails, two ponds and convenient amenities. Close to Pikes peak state park, Backbone state park, effigy national monument and tons of playgrounds. The space is as described, and everything you need for a visit away. Would recommend and would stay again.

This place was better than the pictures. It was clean and had all the things necessary for cooking inside and on a grill. There was a crockpot and a variety of pots, pans and cooking utensils. There were plenty of shower towels, hand towels and washcloths. Also there was enough toilet paper for our stay. The bedsheets were made very well and beds and pillows were better than the average rental. I recommend a golf cart rental to get around, especially if you have children. We did bring bikes, but there are hills and larger gravel, so biking wasn't the best means to get around. We had a great trip and would recommend this place!

This is my third time staying at this property, first time at the Overlook cabin. Traci and her husband are excellent hosts! The cabin is one of the nicest air bnbs I have ever stayed in. Beautifully crafted, excellent views of the valley. Our group enjoyed fly fishing the local streams and hiking. This place is truly a gem. Highly recommend. Will be visiting again soon.

Absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a beautiful, quiet, relaxing place to spend some vacation days! Great hosts, great accommodations, would definitely stay again!

Very cozy and quiet cabin! Everything we needed and exactly as expected! I’m not very outdoorsy and there was a fair amount of bugs outside, but some candles and bug spray did help. Definitely expected for a cabin experience. Extremely clean and the inside was very well sealed off from the outside.

If you don’t like peace and quiet, you won’t like this place. Tucked away in a small valley off the beaten path. Pictures don’t do this place justice. Hosts were very responsive, the cabin was very clean, spacious, and the best one i have stayed in. Will definitely be booking this place again! 20/20 would recommend!
