Monthly Rentals in Wilton

This was my third time staying at the Silvermine Hideaway, which is a mile from my daughter son-in-law’s home in Silvermine in New Canaan, CT. Scott always reaches out to me before and during our visit to welcome me and see if there is anything I need. Scott left his delicious home baked muffins for us, a bottle of wine, fresh fruit, a frozen pizza, and hard boiled eggs, as well as refrigerated half and half packets for our morning coffee. I have visited three times in the past four months: in October (for the birth of my third grandchild - a boy), January (for my granddaughter’s second birthday), and March (for my granddaughter’s fourth birthday). We look forward to our next stay!

A beautiful cottage nestled in the quiet countryside. We were able to watch the meteor shower while sitting on the patio. Also, watching the deer grazing through the yard. The cottage was cozy and welcoming for a relaxing stay. We will stay again.

Carlos and his family made me feel right at home. Very friendly! He always was very helpful and responsive. Beautiful place, quiet and very clean. Anything I needed, Carlos was right there. I would highly recommend staying here.

The unit is a downstairs apartment in a family home, with a private entrance through a beautiful red door. there is a family living upstairs so you will hear footsteps/running children/voices. It was not problematic though. It is in a remote wooded area and easy to find. We loved the decor in the apartment and it had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable with very soft sheets. The only awkward thing was that the sofa was very far away from the TV and it made more sense for the table/chairs to be where the sofa was. We switched them for our stay and then moved them back. We were confused that there were pots and pans but not stove until we found the hotplate under the sink. We enjoyed an amazing steak dinner at Lenny's about 5 minutes away. Julita was very helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!
