Everything you see is handcrafted by myself, wife and our two kids. There's amenities that we think everyone will love, including: heated floors, heated towel rack, bath tub on the front porch, huge windows and so much more! The Boathouse is a perfect place to recapture some peace in a hectic world. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. A great place to get away for a breath of fresh air. Sit by the year round creek and enjoy the soothing sounds of water meandering its way beneath the lush green trees as the sunlight peaks through the branches and dances on the water. Take a creek walk and enjoy the beauty of nature on a relaxing adventure. ( We now have high speed fiber wifi at the Boathouse!)

LakeFront Cave with waterfalls & more @ Smith Lake

You won't find anything with more character than the Cave and its surroundings. Nestled at the end of a slough on Smith Lake, its seclusion adds to the appeal. Explore the waterfalls, the lake, and the cave and its unique features. Retire to the rustic cabin with beautiful lake views, indoor fireplace, and natural accents. Note that there is a set of steps (~25) to get to the cave. Ask us about options to accommodate more guests than the 4 listed. Bookings offered only 3 months in advance

Coyote’s Cabin Treehouse W/Private Hot Tub

Coyote’s Cabin Treehouse is 224 sq ft that sits up high on a bluff with Scarham creek below. Hot tub sits overlooking the creek. There’s no TV or WIFI. We only offer the noise of nature. Please note: this is a smoke free ( including marijuana) , pet free and no children allowed. Please respect our home. If you must smoke, please do so outside and away from the door and bring a butt can with you. I always offer discount stays on my excellent guest at any of my stays

Brightly decorated with a full bath, kitchen and bedroom. Plus, two futons that make out into full size beds. Great swimming and fishing off the pier. Just 12 miles from downtown Florence if you'd like to visit or stay and totally relax on the lake.

If you are looking for the ultimate marriage retreat or a single person's escape from the routine of life, this cabin is the place for you! The entire cabin is yours for reserving. It is located on First Creek and is minutes away from nearby towns and Joe Wheeler State Park, where there are amazing walking trails and deer. It is truly a place to get away from it all!
