Spent a weekend at Cathie and Michael’s beautiful little home and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely come back again!

We had a fantastic stay at Lars and Fiona’s place! The property was spotless and well-maintained, and we felt completely at ease bringing our dog along – it was such a pet-friendly and welcoming space. The pool was a definite highlight, especially for the kids, who absolutely loved spending time in it. It was perfect for cooling off in the summer heat, and we used it almost every day. The property was great for relaxing, but it also served as an excellent base for exploring the area. We visited Lake Eildon and the Cathedral Ranges, both of which were incredible. Walking to the top of the back paddock, as recommended, was another highlight – the views were absolutely breathtaking. Lars and Fiona were friendly and welcoming, but they gave us plenty of privacy. We only saw them briefly to say hello and goodbye, which made for a comfortable and relaxing experience. Our kids had a wonderful time too, making it an all-around great stay for the whole family. Highly recommend!!

Stunning views and peaceful. The house is well organised and spotless. Perfect for a weekend stay and for those who wanted longer hikes at cathedral ranges. Shopping for groceries can be done at nearby town Buxon or Marysville. We really enjoyed our stay.

Blue Wren cottage was lovely. We loved getting to wander around the property and see the animals. My 3 year old was even lucky enough to feed some cows, chickens and goats. There is also a small playground there which is nice for the kids. Very short drive into town and easy to find. Thank you to Carolyn for being a great host!
