Monthly Rentals in Whale

The cricket pavilion is amazing!!!!! i would 100% recommend and would love to visit again in the future. there is the perfect amount of privacy and the views are incredible! The cabin felt like the perfect inbetween of camping without all the hassle, with things like the outdoor shower making it amazing. we loved everything about the stay, including the decor it was incredibly cosy and we couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We were attending a wedding at Arkham Hall and this cottage was in the perfect location. Ian was super accommodating, allowing us to check in early and sending clear instructions of how to locate his place. The cottage was very clean and cosy and we would happily stay here again!

I booked martins BnB the night before around 10 in the evening to which I got a message from him right away. Check in was at 3 but I arrived a little early as the drive too shorter than expected and he was fine with that and let me check in a little early. The BnB is on his farm with stunning views and very cute animals (sheep, cows and cats). There was a folder full of leaflets and pamphlets full of information on local things to do and places to visit! I would have happily stayed longer but only had the night available but I will 100% going back.

Better than the description !! A Barn in a Farm down a lane with a view. We were met by the super dogs Fly, Maggie and the host, George. We were blown away with the instant peacefulness and glorious view. Alice was a super host, friendly and welcoming and we felt very much a part of the rural location. The barn conmversion has been exectued to a very high comfortable standard, perfect for a couple. Walking or running or just relaxing this place is a real treat ! Dogs, Sheep, Cattle surround you as you take in the view of Butterwick and Knipe. Shop, Pubs & Heated Outdoor Swimming Pool all within two miles and a circular walk via Askham Fell and Lowther Castle would be ideal as a run or a stroll.
