This flat was a great find ! Free parking spot right outside. The flat is right in the town centre but out of the way. It had a lovely privaye court yard with seating area with pretty lights ! It was quiet considering how close to the centre. Charlotte was very accommodating and responsive. I like to cook, and the kitchen was perfectly clean & had all the equipment and more 👩‍🍳 The bed was super comfy ! The TV was huge 😆 Great stay, will be back 🙌😊

We really enjoyed our stay. We were there for 10 days from the US to attend a wedding. The flat allowed plenty of space for my family of 4 for the duration. It was nice to have a kitchen and be a short walk from 2 grocery stores. The town is beautiful, and people were so friendly. Staff at the Crooked Swan were a dream. We got to know several of them during our visit. A few recommendations: House instructions would be ideal. The WiFi network and password wasn’t posted, so we had to email the Swan, and it took a bit to get it sorted. It took us a few days to figure out how to open up the large ceiling windows throughout. There’s a pole in the primary bedroom to do it, but we didn’t realize what it was right away. It was very hot when we arrived, so that would have been helpful to know at check-in. It also would be great to have a large broom or vacuum, as the floors got quite dusty over our long stay. Overall, we loved it. I certainly recommend to others, especially families.

We have just returned from a very relaxing 4 nights stay. The property is spotless, beds so comfortable, everything you need is provided and the sea view and beach access are the icing on top! The area is quiet, fresh coffee and breakfast from the Tide cafe were excellent. You have easy access to the costal path and roads to the surrounding towns from here. A really fabulous property.

We had a wonderful few days at Caroline’s cottage. It was a home away from home, with everything you needed and set in the beautiful village of Puncknowle. Caroline was a brilliant host, who answered our questions incredibly quickly. We couldn’t recommend it enough.

We had a great stay at John’s place! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. John was a responsive and friendly host, making check-in and communication really easy. One small suggestion would be to add a bit more garden furniture outside—it would be lovely to enjoy evening meals out there on a nice summer evening. Overall, a great stay and we’d definitely come back and recommend it to others!

Just got back from our holiday, the accommodation was spotless clean especially the bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed and very suitable for our dog. The village is truly beautiful and a lovely place to stay and my kids enjoyed the stay with great Wi-Fi.

Fantastic for families We are a group of three families with children from 2 to 8 years old. This place was perfect for us. Well located, peaceful countryside feel, not overlooked, very private, we didn't see anyone else from the house. But also just a few minutes from supermarkets. easy to find, big driveway pillars on the lane. enclosed safe garden for our dogs, bowls, beds, poo bags for them beautiful horses in the adjacent field. huge trampoline and play area which the kids loved hot tub also enjoyed by the children we didn't have great weather but if you do then there is seating outside and a hammock, bbq etc the tv is huge and very slick three king en suites for the grown ups was also great one of the best parts was the toys, so many toys the children were never bored. a massive box of lego kept the eldest entertained. there is everything you might need, even down to baby sleeping bags with the cot! we all agreed this place was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return

Poorton House is well-designed and in an idyllic setting within the Dorset countryside. The house itself is designed incredibly well with thoughtful touches and the most gorgeous furnishings. Also, the garden at the property is beautiful. As a geography teacher with two young boys with a passion for the subject, we were able to visit so many awe inspiring locations during our stay; sand dunes, stacks, arches, fossil cliffs…amazing! A beautiful well presented house with all amenities needed for our stay. Very clean and tidy. Ample bathroom towels, kitchen tea towels, dishcloths, washing up liquid etc plus a welcome box and milk in fridge which was very much appreciated as we had traveled by train (which is about a mile away and the taxi was roughly just £6). There is a double bedroom on the ground floor and a WC which was great for me personally as I had a knee problem. Lovely little courtyard with metal steps up to a little patio with table and chairs at the back of the property. As described the bars, cafes, restaurants and shops are a stone throw away so it was easy to walk everywhere. We would not hesitate to use this lovely town house again and hopefully we can. Thank you very much Mat for everything.

Was very impressed with the property, stayed as we were attending a local family wedding and the place was ideal for a large family. The host Mark was very helpful and friendly. Apart from the quality of the accommodation, one of the stand our features were the surroundings which were beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the place and little touches like garden games were enjoyed by All. Although we didn’t use it, there was a barbecue provided and a fire pit if we’d wishing to. Over all we would stay again happily

Jonathan was a wonderful host! Very proactive in offering recommendations and ensuring we had a great time! The breakfast cafe ‘Soulshine’ nearby was a delight so thank you for sharing! Clear information on how to check in/out, the place was perfect as a base for us ti explore Bridport and the surrounding areas! Will be back again soon for another visit!

Green Tor was perfect. The view is beautiful from the garden and bedroom. The kitchen and house has everything you need. All the house instructions were clearly explained and requested in the welcome folder. Thank you for the milk, toilet rolls and biscuits. Very tasteful decor. There is a porthole window in the bedroom which doesn’t have a blind over it, the only negative for us. Beautiful house, a home from home, thank you. Lyme Regis is just so so pretty, and the surrounding areas. The beaches are beautiful. The walk down and back up were totally ok for me but my partner wasn’t so keen! There’s loads of parking available just inside both sides of the town, most have some hill to walk up but not too far. Parking - everywhere is expensive though, so I’d have just walked up and down the hill! (£1.70+++ per hour). We parked at the police station car park a few times and the walk from there was lovely- via a stream to the Old (working) Mill- worth a visit, so pretty. Deffo go back!

Loved the privacy and value of this stay, LOVED having a kitchen & washing machine, and luckily was able to extend the stay a couple of days more, the night before when I realised I was getting a cold/flu. (Somehow I ended up with a discount on that, even!) Couldn’t have asked for more. Bridport’s lovely by the way. Could easily come back and stay longer but I’m sure it’ll be booked out for summer now. Thanks Shawn, great value stay for me!

The air bnb was perfect for a weekend away, extremely clean and cosy and had everything you needed for a short stay. The communication with the host was clear and Nicole was very happy to help with any of our needs. Located perfectly, just a short walk over to the beach front. Definitely would recommend and visit again! :)

We had a perfect short stay here! Helen's communications were especially friendly and helpful. The accommodation was just right for a family of four, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the many thoughtful touches throughout (such as a welcome note, lavender bags on pillows, provision of milk enough for us all for our breakfasts, toys for the children including a hilarious interactive duck, lounge blankets, bathroom flannels, table napkins etc.). The apartment has everything you might need including umbrellas, and much more. Parking is indeed easy and very closeby. The beach and Seafield Gardens with a good playground) are a short walk away. There is so much to do in the area. We enjoyed the nearby Donkey Sanctuary and Lyme Regis, and are keen to return to explore more sometime.
