Monthly Rentals in Westcombe

Very clean, tidy & cosy house. Very relaxing, especially sitting on the patio on a warm afternoon. Being able to wander over to the stream and cool down was blissful. It was an incredibly peaceful, quiet and rural location. Having freedom to roam the 55 acres was a lovely bonus, our dog was in his element. Not much nearby so you need to be prepared to drive pretty much everywhere. The use of the tennis courts was a lovely addition to the stay. We had a couple of minor issues, and despite David being out of the country, he was still incredible responsive and helpful. For a relaxing, quiet stay you can't beat it.

Beautiful little cottage in a very tranquil village. Perfect for a couple of nights away.

Wayside Cottage was really lovely. So well equipped, bright, nicely furnished and comfortable, with everything you would need. We really enjoyed being in the sunny garden and loved hearing the church bells and birdsong on the Sunday morning. It is in a great location, close to many places, and the co-op 2 minutes away was very useful as open till 10.00pm every night. Anna was a great host and came back to us almost immediately with any queries we had. The only thing I couldn’t do was unlock the back door-for some reason it wouldn’t work for me, so always had to wait for someone else to do it-it is fiddly. But we all had a brilliant time in Evercreech and loved it, Thankyou Anna

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 week stay. The cottage is very comfortable and spacious. Everything was exactly as described and the cottage was well equipped for a long stay. Stephanie and Charlie were very friendly and responsive to any questions we asked. New laundered bed linen and towels were provided each week. We can totally recommend the cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in the countryside yet close to many attractions. Thank you both.
