Places to stay in West Union

We stayed here on our way from PA to McKee, KY to break up the trip. It was a perfect place to spend the evening & get a good nights sleep! The staff was very friendly! Would definitely recommend.

Perfect getaway for my husband's birthday and a reset! I could not recommend this place more! host was quick to respond with any questions we had! we were able to relax in the hot tub and enjoy the views! the highland cows were a great addition to our stay! cabin was very clean and stocked to any needs we had for cooking! the shower was the best! we will definitely be back soon! home away from home!

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's and Alicia's was probably the cleanest we have had. The house is very cute with lots of historic detail. The town is quaint, and we enjoyed being close to the river. It was nice to walk the area and see the town charm. Alicia was very helpful and informative as we had bad weather rolling in while we were there. She sent emergency information in case it was needed while we were there. Our girls enjoyed the cute bunk bed nook and the "cuteness" to the space. We will definitely stay again if in the area!!

So cozy and cute!! Feels like Grandma’s house! Traffic can be a little loud. Beds are comfy but could be more sturdy. Also needs ceiling fans in the rooms. I suggested adding a fire pit area outside or a hot tub and I think they’re adding a fit pit area outside soon. Owners are very nice and responsive. We will definitely stay again!

Great location, comfortable house, and very responsive host! It’s close to lots of things to do but has a country feel. We also saw some Amish going down the road. Loved sitting on the front porch.

if you're looking for peace and relaxation, you'll find it at this cabin. It's literally in the middle of nowhere at the end of a long gravel road. The cabin was very clean. Lots of supplies on hand. I brought some pots just in case and this worked well. If you're not particular, then the ones supplied are fine. The beds are firm, we brought our own pillows but they too are supplied. This is a "dry" County and the nearest package store is about 15-20 mins away as well as Walmart and a few other stores. Sharon was very responsive and a great host. Treat her home as you would yours or better. The grill needs attention but Sharon is aware of this. It's obviously used a lot! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return :)

Went for a weekend getaway and ended up wanted to say longer. Beautiful and private place you won’t regret staying! Perfect place to take the family and get away!

This was my second stay at the Blue Moon Lodge and like already last time everything was perfect and I love to stay there. Come back very soon 🙏
