Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in West Lothian

Everything went smoothly and the flat was clean, spacious, and quiet. The amenities, like washer and dryer, were wonderful. While the location was slightly off the common "tourist path," we actually appreciated that and it was an easy bus ride or Uber back to the flat each night. We also enjoyed the local pub and the food choices nearby. My only issue was the lack of communication about the 3 flights of stairs/no lift. This fact is mentioned in other reviews (as I see now), but not in the description of the property nor in the initial instructions for accessing the flat. The stairs themselves are not Ben's fault and as I learned on my 14-day journey through Ireland and the UK, accessibility is not a priority in these old cities. That's fine. But the lesson for me I guess is to read reviews a little more closely, as that's the only place the stairs are mentioned. I have bad knees so trekking up the stairs each night after a long day was, quite simply, torture. But still a great stay.

Lovely spot in a really great location. Check in was very easy, the apartment is very clean and has everything you could need. Can highly recommend.

Valentina’s place was within walking distance to everything we needed. We never heard any of the construction outside. Very quiet. Entryway is definitely run down but the apartment itself is very clean and modern. Having the washer and dryer was a huge bonus! Overall would stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Doocot. It was the perfect size for our group of 8 and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen had essentials like oil, salt, tea coffee, tin foil etc and he had left milk for us in the fridge. Barrie was conscientious and checked in on us via message multiple times during the stay. The property is near loads of big supermarkets. Would come back in future!

Our stay at Mary's was everything we hoped for and more! Such a lovely home in a bucolic village along the Firth of Forth - we loved it! Close to the train to Edinburgh, Glasgown and Troon; close to motorways heading to points north, and a quiet town for breakfast by the water. It provided us with a great base for seeing Scotland and it felt like coming home every day. Mary was so easy to connect with - unfortunately we left as she was coming home so that is my only regret! I would absolutely reach out to Mary again when we come back! Thank you Mary, for sharing your home with us. It truly made our stay in Scotland a memorable one. Mike & Annie and family

Beautiful modern house. Loads of natural light and plenty of space. A great location near the airport. Really friendly hosts. Spotlessly clean. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Gintare's place was very clean and comfortable. The location was great for taking the tram all over the city. The local restaurants and bars were great.

Great flat in a great location, with very receptive hosts. Bathrooms could do with a really deep clean- that’s the only negative.

The apartment is located 1.5km walk from the old town and 400m from the botanical garden. We visited Edinburgh for 2 days on foot. The apartment is very well appointed and there is even an adapter for French plug. the double bedroom has a small private shower /toilet room in addition to the master bathroom. We had a lovely stay there. outdoor parking spot for visitor, parking space on adjacent street ( free on we) Margaret was very clear and pleasant in her messages. We highly recommend it.

This is a lovely flat. very clean and comfortable with lots of characterful period features and furnishings. Spacious and bright. On quite a busy street but actually very quiet. Dora is a very helpful and welcoming host. I would definitely book it again.

Paul’s apartment was perfect for our stay and easily accommodated 5 of us comfortably. Everything needed for our stay was provided and Paul’s availability to answer any queries went above and beyond. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to be just a short distance from the busy hustle and bustle of Edinburgh centre but close enough to get there easily and quickly.
