I had an absolutely wonderful three weeks in the Summer House. The living area was cosy with a great view, the kitchen had everything you could need and Sandra was always happy to help with anything, including recommending the most stunning walks for me to go on! To top it off, Tommy the cat is so cuddly too. Definitely thinking of coming back again soon. Thanks for a wonderful stay xx

This accommodation was meant to be. It was within walking distance of a nearby care home where we visited mum. Margaret and Steve were excellent hosts and very friendly and helpful. They provided toys for our toddler Sasha. The outside garden area was excellent added to this the weather was amazing. We enjoyed bbq's with our family. We will be back and would recommend this lovely home.

Everything was great from beginning to end. Martian helped with the parking, was super friendly and helpful with deals and offers in the surrounding areas. Great place and the breakfast/service is awesome, super tasty and plentiful!

Convenient with self check-in, easy to find and Jason and Sophie provided very clear instructions. Very good location for getting to Old Trafford!

This is a brilliant location for all major attractions. You cannot fault the cleanliness that Freddie provides and he is very helpful and accommodating. He made the effort to ensure we were all on the same floor (our party was 8 adults and 7 kids) which we appreciated. It ain’t The Ritz, but it doesn’t set out to be

Great welcome on arrival. Amazing location for Rebellion fest and great late night convenience stores and take aways. Bedroom was perfect with really comfy beds.

A beautiful and cosy place situated in calm, peaceful countryside surroundings. The outbuilding was clean and comfortable, and check-in was hassle-free. Unfortunately we could not complete our full stay for unrelated reasons, but Felicity was very understanding about this and we are very grateful for the kind approach taken. A sincere recommendation on our part.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at The Potting Shed. Maureen was friendly and welcoming on arrival. She explained how to use the hot tub, which had kindly already been set up for us. The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfy, and there were plenty of towels. We really appreciated the extra touches, such as the welcome basket and the fridge supplies. The location was peaceful, quiet, and private, with beautiful views. Everything was just perfect, and we would definitely visit again.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we absolutely love it. Very clean, tidy and feels really safe. Our group was two adult and a toddler which comes with its own special challenges but the bnb was a perfect fit for us. Thank you for yet another lovely stay! We’re only sad that we can’t stay again as our family is expanding

just back from 2 days in this beautiful place. photos do not do it justice at all, it's amazing, peaceful, spotless clean and private , also a great bonus is it has a private outdoor seating area for guests. I honestly couldn't fault it. Victoria was an excellent host and kindly left us some prosecco and cookies, very much appreciated, thank you. we will definitely be back again soon.

Tom was a brilliant host from start to finish. Responded to questions immediately. The accommodation was fantastic and perfect for my family. It was just a brilliant long weekend experience for us all!

Jo’s lodge was perfect for our you family. Comfortable, warm, easy to find and good instructions. The unit was well equipped and I couldn’t find any fault with the place. All things you need for a short stay and more where there, as well as some nice touches with local jam and chutney, complimentary cheeses and a pint of milk to ensure we could make a cuppa when we arrived. We were checking in late and communication with Jo was friendly and efficient. All in all a perfect stay and met our expectations. We visit the area most years to visit family and I’m sure we’ll be back. Thanks Jo, a great stay I have nothing but good things

We had a great 3 night stay at Abby’s place. The location is beautiful, and our dog really loved the local woods for his walk. Very clean and comfortable and with everything you need. We hope to be back next time we come up to Lancashire.

Amy was a wonderful and responsive host. we had our 2 tiny dogs with us and they loved having a home away from home and close to the lovely Ashfield Park. sizeable living room, kitchen with all you need and a large bedroom too. we would be happy to stay there when next in wigan to see old friends .

We had the most wonderful stay at Ty Haf - the best airbnb we've ever stayed at! Joy and Richard were so welcoming and helpful, from the welcome pack with local beer and homemade bread to the local recommendations, our stay was made so special. They were also great at setting the accomodation up for our young children with a stair gate and children's crockery - made everything so much easier for our first trip away as a family. The location is wonderful, and the local walks and pub is great. We really hope to come back again!
